Cant Wait to see Kim Caldwell Coach The Lady Vols

I think this staff tries to find another post. Whether it be from HS ranks , a foreign (European) player or somebody we just haven’t heard about via the portal. KC has a lot of talent at the guard position but we know she is looking for some final size . FYI- There were interesting rumors of her wanting to meet with Tamari a few weeks ago but little has been said so I think TK is gonna stick to her decision despite how much I she’d provide key experience. I think they like the makeup of this team & its character. Lots of versatility & athleticism. Destiny Wells seems like another perfect fit for her system nobody is speaking about bc her injury. We will all keep our ears open and who knows, she may already have a plan or player in the works.

Yeah I saw the rumored post on Twitter, definitely know who are talking about who started it. I, too, I'm not mad by it. A lot of these higher portal players will know where their next landing spot will be whether is a coaching switch or not. The main reason why USC, UCLA and Maryland have gotten really good players the head coaches been there awhile or they are coaching star players that lure portals to the program already. At least for year 1, Caldwell and her staff have done well finding 4 talented, athletic players to add size, scoring and quickness. I doubt Caldwell is going to try to strike lightening in a bottle go for one more player that can do all things she wants in her system. That won't come until year 2 with star recruits and utilizing the portal once more time to get the players she wants to execute her system. We just have to see how we'll finish year 1 of Caldwell and if she'll be more aggressive to get top players into the program.

I remember the games I to me I was actually shocked when we lost to. B State but I guess the Virginia game was one of the worst losses thank you for taking us down memory lane

Totally agree!! How the "experts" say they won't make the tourney (for the 1st time ever!) next season b/c we don't have Jackson and b/c Puckett & Tess don't fit Kim's style of play on D. But not one explore whether K.Boyd, K.Wynn, D.Wells, A. Strickland, T.Cooper or even Edie Darby just might be better fits in this style of play. They act like our new recruits & Spear are the only ones capable of succeeding and thus, there's not enough depth. Ultimately, I hope it serves to light a major fire under the team! GBO!!
