I've seen a lot of TUCO videos and I think I'm going not to pick almost 90% of his choices. If we let ourselves be fooled by the price, just because they cost $1 each and we know the artists, our house will be swamped by thousands of vinyls. So what's the point of our life then?

Every time I visited such thrift stores always wondering who is going to buy such artists/music while they have thousand of thousands of them. Now I knew, there are kind of person like you (and other commentators here) that $1 is the key point. So buy and buy them, no matter you are going to listen them or not. The most of important is the price.

That massive covered wagon reminded me of an interesting film fact. During the production of the 1923 film 'The Covered Wagon', the filmmakers reached out to families who had ancestors that actually crossed the country in covered wagons, and some of them still had their covered wagons from the 1850s in their barns. They were asked to sell or rent their wagons for the film, and as a result, the film features legitimate and original actual covered wagons from the 1800s. It's in the public domain now since it's over 95 yrs old, but it's wild to think we can watch footage of the actual covered wagons from those times in a full feature film from the silent era.

These videos have a fantastic unintentional ASMR quality. They also make me want to start collecting vinyl records. Growing up in the 70’s and 80’s, that’s all we had in the house. I have no idea what happened to all those records we had. Great video though!!

This is the equivalent of hiking to a river in a remote location to look for bits of gold in the sand. This is the source of many of the old vinyl I find in my country (Costa Rica) . No vinyl no matter how old or banged up is sold here for less than 10 usd, most mainstream 1970-80 s vinyl in decent condition are around 16-30 usd here and probably they came from these cheap bins.
