I just need some help
I'm trying
I wish I can get sober
I'm still struggling with myself. I need help right now
Oh my! I am really late to this party! I am cleaning out my books when I came acoss my favorite, an aging paperback "Desert Notes" and I finally found him on The web!
Oh my
Beautiful woman 🎶
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤
“Sawubona; Yebo Sawubona!”
My heart is very warm; so beautiful, thank you.
Lyla we the family love you.
Agreed ! Often I felt sure women did not need to fight for their rights ~ rights they always have had ~ but I didn’t know where that came from or what it is ~ So nice to have this grand connection that brims with life and breath to the soul ❤❤❤
Holy crap, I think that’s my cousin, her grandma Vera made the best fry bread! Love you Desi!
❤
Wow had no idea. I have Dutch ancestry also. Thanks for sharing beautiful Lyla. Did you know your name derives from indigenous Hebrew? It means night. To howl at night like a wolf 🐺
I’m indigenous Sioux and wachitu (white woman).
❤
Go c his stupid grave😂
Boring
❤
Just found you - through Bobby McFerrin. Thanks for a good evening this week; this is part of the world I haven't been living in. Glad to be at least a visitor.
Brilliant, as ever - a blueprint for the sort of human being we should all aspire to be.
She's speaking of the Southern Resident Killer Whales and the Chinook (or King) Salmon. Imagine a King that sacrifices for the betterment of all people?? Would-be humans be so giving and thoughtful what problems could we not overcome? NONE!!
This resonated with me so deeply.
Follow the salmon. Listen to Chief Sisk. Join Run4Salmon!
This woman is a true heroine.
Thank you so much for this.♥️🌹🩸
Beautiful....Bless you Dear One....
Hi, GiGi! I remember you from DU!
is there a full version of this. Im not seeing anything on your page or elsewhere.
Barry: We will miss you insights, compassion and integrity. A void that will not be filled.
YO! You tubers!!! Where is everybody??? You kidding me? 53 "likes" and 6 comments??? This should be mandatory listening, especially right now in these times 1/11/2021. Ok, forgive my tone, I was just getting carried away, I only just discovered the man myself less than a week ago and I am blown away by his universe. NPR Fresh Air interview w Terry Gross was my introduction. Now I am binge watching and reading him. He is like a medicine for the soul... Hope more peeps get to know both the man and the work. So sad that he passed last Christmas...
Silvia, thank you for the link you left on another UA-cam video.
@@rr7firefly my pleasure!
Wu-wei literally translates as “no trying” or “no doing,” but it’s not at all about dull inaction. In fact, it refers to the dynamic, effortless, and unselfconscious state of mind of a person who is optimally active and effective. People in wu-wei feel as if they are doing nothing, while at the same time they might be creating a brilliant work of art, smoothly negotiating a complex social situation, or even bringing the entire world into harmonious order. For a person in wu-wei, proper and effective conduct follows as automatically as the body gives in to the seductive rhythm of a song. This state of harmony is both complex and holistic, involving as it does the integration of the body, the emotions, and the mind. If we have to translate it, wu-wei is probably best rendered as something like “effortless action” or “spontaneous action.” Being in wu-wei is relaxing and enjoyable, but in a deeply rewarding way that distinguishes it from cruder or more mundane pleasures. Silvia, for me this is what lopez is doing....and i doing same benefit. Thought you might like tat.
@@dottiekemp5160 thanks, that's super interesting. Sorry, my first reply to you was inaccurate, had not fully read the end. I thought you were referring to a specific thing he said, but now I understand you were really referring to him as a whole. I truly appreciate what you wrote
RIP Barry Lopez
PEACE be your Journey, Mr. Lopez. 💚
I have listened to many survivors of WW2 and their grace and command of their own emotions is humbling. They as well rebuilt their lives by seeking stability. I believe it is this is why we even exist today. We must all learn stability and command of our own emotions if we are to keep going.
What an eye opening and wise discussion. So grateful to be able to listen.
Thanks and wow.
Right? I just discovered him myself. If you like audiobooks, he does a great job reading his own "About This Life"... highly recommend it
Continued prayers for your culture and peoples. I am new to the area and in awe of the water. I am awake in these times and do my best with energy work, physical work, lifestyle work, and heart work. Blessings to you Chief SIsk and thank you for your service. P.S. my 7 yr. old twin granddaughters caught my dinner recently, a first time experience and a moment I will cherish forever! They were born on the winter solstice :)

Beautiful women .... I love both of you, Joanna and Corrina.
Wow! This is magnificent! Thank you beautiful Joanna.
I love this...as I seem to virtually everything Sharon Blackie has to offer.
Beautiful women ❤️
Thank you for sharing this. It's been a real gate-opener...
Going back to the garden of Eden, women have obviously been painted black because of Eve tempting Adam. But why was Adam never portrayed as being feeble for being tempted by what has been described as a weaker being. The translations and rewriting evidently haven't been reviewed by the continuity manager... I think the fact that women have been written out of history with the change from oral to written story telling is probably important
Trickster crow...let's hope he hasn't pecked it back too far this time 😊
Exceptional. Grateful.
