At 13s, click on the top right menu or press "n" to change the scale on the Z axis like he did. At 18s, press "Tab" to switch to Edit mode. You can press tab again to go back to Object mode. At 24s, press the key: "i" to do inserts. Do this 3 times. At 34s, to select more than one faces click while pressing "shift + alt" Around 42s, he goes back to Object mode by pressing "tab" then applies the scale by pressing "Ctrl + A" and clicking [Scale]. Then he goes back to Edit mode by pressing "tab" In Edit mode, around 50s, press "i" then open the [Inset Faces] menu at the bottom left corner of your screen. At 1min, to select all the faces just "alt + click" At 1:08 press "i" again. These are all the shortkeys he used.
