Hello, sorry for late reply. I used Airbnb when I was there. The hotels that are walking distance to the beach were just a bit too expensive for me. You can easily found Airbnb in Cap Haitien with water, electricity and fully packed kitchen. It seems like in Haiti, I just could not have it both ways. Just accept to pay a bit more for hotels within walking distance to a good beach. Please stay in the northern side of Haiti. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your vakans....

Okap or Cap Haitien is always safe. You can go whenever you feel like. Just make sure you book a hotel before you arrive there because sometimes during high demands, it will be hard to find a descent place for reasonable price. OK thanks for the visit and enjoy your trip.
