I don't get how people get uncomfortable listening to a song. Yeah, I get what it's implying. We all know the myths of Zeus and how he was. It's a character, expressed through a song. How is it uncomfortable/triggering?

I keep forgetting the lines changed "Let me depart with some peace of mind" is now Eurylochus singing "And what will you do when it tears us apart?" Which both rhymes differently with the previous lines, but leads differently into the next section (which I'm assuming would have happened at the end of what we see in this clip anyway)

This original beginning had me thinking that, as opposed to Odysseus singing right after Circe on the downbeat, we would have a cinematic moment where the music stalls for a moment before we hear his voice, conveying a shifting of perspective and a gathering of nerve- would’ve been really cool and vivid.

Ok for those who are unaware Odysseus didn't kill Polyphemus (Poseidon's son) he just stole his (Polyphemus)' flock of sheep and blinded him which is why he called to Poseidon that Odysseus should not return home but if it is fate for him to do so he has to lose all of his men and his ships and to come home in another man's ship and Poseidon heard it
