Zeus is behind so many myths in Greek mythology, it’s easy to forget Poseidon can be as terrifying as both of his brothers. Hades is chill as long as you don’t piss him and his wife off, though. Part of me wonders if Persephone would have roasted Odysseus for all of the death and extra coincidental paperwork for her husband that can be traced back to his bad decisions (the creation of the Helen Pact that kicked off the Trojan War, the Trojan Horse and Sacking of Troy (not all the Trojans deserved to die there), not crediting Poseidon for his help shutting up the naysayers (and Poseidon took that very personally), his inability to control his men (how many of his misadventures/men’s death can be traced back to this one?), the Cyclops (did you need to give Poseidon more reason to want to hate you, guy?), and the inevitable slaughter of all of Penelope’s suitors who were squatting at his house (I’ll blame the suitors for this one, but this and Odysseus’ men getting slaughtered pretty much pissed off almost every bachelorette in Ithaca (he and his son took out a good chuck of the male population) and nearly got Odysseus killed).
