1R2D (1 rewinch, 2 directions) is an add-on (upgrade) to use a Rewinch in two directions (bi-directional) so you can setup your own "portable 2.0 cable park" anywhere. More info: www.rewinch.com
A trigger throttle would be better for control. A bit like a paramotor or remote controlled car hand throttle

Could two Rewinch be connected to have a cable ski experience up to 400 meters long? One on each side, when one works forward the other does the opposite
From what I can tell you should be able to do a 1R2B attachment and a longer cable to achieve what ur wanting for a 2.0 setup

One thing I noticed today is the remote timeout at 30 seconds seems a bit short. Is there a way to just turn auto off off or set it to a higher number, like 5 minutes or something? I also realized that if it shuts off while I’m far from the antenna remote it won’t re-connect unless I walk back closer too it.
Thank you Ted for the feedback. We can reprogram the Rewinch Rider Remote to have bigger shutdown time, but we think in this case it was the timeout on the node antenna that reached the 10min timeout without receiving a signal from the Rewinch Rider Remote. In this case, the node needs to be turned on manually and as solution you might need to be sending a signal here and there with the Rewinch Rider Remote so you can keep the node active. Hope this solution help. We will send you further details and describe other options available for your setup. Keep us posted and have fun with your Rewinch and Rider Remote!

Hey Guys. I now tested the Rider remote to the fullest an i must say it works perfectly and is very easy to use. You might need some time to remember the different combinations but this will not take you long. I was thinking, since we have good remote pilots that this will not increase much the already phenomenal riding experience but it actually does. Big thanks to Rewinch for taking there time (over 1 year) to make a product that is so reliable and easy to use. If you are using Rewinch in a river or flowing water this remote is a must have.

You've got to practice for that no-wind kite days 😅 Although different sports, Rewinch is also used in kite-surf schools to teach people the basics of boardsports before they get behind a kite. Any application you see more useful for kites and rewinch?

Hey Dynie! The difference between standard battery packs or the high-capacity ones are just in terms of running time. Rewinch peek power is the same regardless the battery capacity. We do prefer to use the standard ones as they are more portable and easy to carry around! Some of our clients use to get 2 standard packs as it give them more options for their sessions.

Hey Owen. You just slide up the top half case and you access the spool inside. Then you install the new rope!

Hello. The unit obviously need all four batteries to work for approximately 20 pulls. But only one of the four batteries can be charged at a time correct? and each battery takes how long to charge?
Hello James! Rewinch charger can charge the batteries all at once. Full charging time is about 50 to 60 minutes (all together). Our new charger (not the one in the video) can also charge the wireless remote at same time. If you have any other specific questions, please let us know or drop us an email. Thanks.
How do you get the bidirectional feature like that. I can’t wrap my brain around that. I live on a small lake cove. Could have fun with this on water ....and on land with my mtn board
Hello James! This works with a spool add-on specially designed to get bi-directional movement. It also uses a reverse pulley and a travelling carrier (where you attach your handle to go back and forth). You can use it on the water or on land! Possibilities are endless. You bind it once and it will stay bind locked to your rewinch.

Hi! How many pulls can a baterry do? I’m really interested in this product.
Standard batteries for rewinch you can do about 20+ deep water starts for 300m (1000ft) rides or 30+ rides if you do platform or jump start. This performance is for water board sports, as they are the most demanding. Snowboarding you can do more runs. Full charging time is about 50 to 60 minutes.
