Why do I feel he sees way too much of himself in her, or rather what he would have liked to be. She's rebellious, at he surface loved, she voices her opinion. In a way she's free in a way he never was. She died without the ghost of her maker and violators haunting her. Armand, he's led by it. He continues to live for Marius, the satanic cult he was forced to join. Once he lived for God, but that was a long time ago if they make that part show canon which I hope dearly.

yeah, he's such an enigmatic character, though knowing bits of his book storyline, his whole personality becomes more clear. did this video provide any insights as a viewer for you? he's still enigmatic to me but there are many moments that stitch a throughline about him throughout the season to try to pin down and put together.
