Im so happy to see your getting your family in to models it’s a super family fun hobby that most people know nothing about but people like all of us amazing builders here watching and commenting god bless you all your all part of this model building family you all are golden keep the love dear to all of our hearts in this hobby it’s been kind of pushed away from the world for so long and now thanks to round 2 for bringing lots of kits back to this wonderful hobby for us all to be blessed together to enjoy
Excellent history on the S10 pickup and Blazer! Great unboxing and review as well! Definitely want these in the stash! I built the Lindberg 1/20th Blazer and Sonoma 4 door kits!
nice job. Thanks for the tips. Question. The racks from amazon . Can they fit the 23ml bottles of the tamiya . Thanks mike
Looking cool Mike!
Hey Mike. Nice video and shoutout. Came over from Dirt Road Cinderella, gave ya a like and a sub.
OMG! I love the Corvette. Great shop cards! I have to try out the blades. The Del Rio is a must! You picked up some awesome products. Thanks for sharing!
Look fwd to your 57 58 kit bash.
Thanks David 👍
I’m actually painting my Jays Resin wheels as I watch your video. I think his are the best! Cool airplane engine idea
Thank you! 👍
Wasn't the real pickup on Jay Leno's Garage a couple of years ago? I have one of those Tamiya engravers and they are awesome.
I saw the truck when I was doing a bit of research. It looks awesome! The engravers are nice tools. What size are you using?
@@ScaleSpeedworks The small one.
Nice scores!!
Thank you!
Edsel wagon?! Hell yeah! Im going to grab a can of that white, great tip! Excellent adds my friend 👍 I never did get one of your cards btw...
Thanks Joe! The card is in the mail as they say! It was mailed Monday from California so hopefully soon? 🤞
@ScaleSpeedworks probably will be waiting for me when I get home 😆
Nice adds youngster! Really high school in 1999? Man I'm old!😢
Thanks Joe! Class of 2000 baby! 🎓
Awesome stuff Mike! I wish this video had come out 3 months ago, I would have bought a different tool. Oh well. Yes, Jay resin wheels makes some really nice products.
Too many tools? Never!! 😆 Start saving, great tool, worth it, but not life changing if that helps 👍
ive got both of those engravers, and i agree totally with your opinion of them. i just got the c8 also. i picked up a couple of them. i plan on building one as a modern day fiero. ive driven several c8s and they are amazing.
Really looking forward to the c8 Fiero!! Very cool Onix, I’ll be looking for your build announcement!
Cool stuff Mike.
Thanks Mars. Hope everything is well
@@ScaleSpeedworks Yes everything is good, how are you guys?
I am really liking how you are doing the build series and love the Speeder bike too!
Thank you sir! Hopefully you’ll see them up close and personal one day 😉
I still use the orange Testor’s, too I’ve even come up with a couple of slogans I think they should use. Let me know what you think. “Testor’s: Works Well, Great Smell,” and, “Testor’s: Get Lit While You Build Your Kit.” And, yes, the blue stuff sucks. As did the non-toxic, citrus-smelling garbage back in the day. It didn’t work well, and it would turn chrome parts kind of a greenish color. But I do remember some stores wouldn’t sell the orange glue unless a parent was with you.
Hahahahahaha!! The slogans are awesome 🤣 I guess my parents just always got me the orange stuff 🤷♂️ I always put the cap between my teeth to remove it then tried to aim to put the glue back 🤣
@@ScaleSpeedworks I’ve never tried that. I’d probably get a mouthful of the glue, which would be bad.
Nice job Mike. When I was a kid we didn't have blue tubes😂 just the hazardous stuff. We also drank from the hose and survived lol😂😂😂😂
Ahhh, the good old days! 🤣
Great update!! That’s coming along. And man I remember when that testors cement was the only stuff I could get! lol
Testors used to be the only game in town! Thank goodness for competition, so many options to choose from, and not just glues!
@@ScaleSpeedworks you’re not kidding!!
Looking good.
Thank you 👍
Great update and I like using extra thin when I preassemble parts. When I was a kid, my mom used to buy the lemon scented glue. I hated it as it didn't stick as good as the old orange tube glue did. Have a great weekend.
Hahahahahaha!! Lemon scented 🤣 I love it!
@@ScaleSpeedworks Back then it was the "safe" glue. Non-toxic and lemony! 🤣 Didn't hold no matter how much you put on the part.
Cool progress. 👍
Thank you!
Nice update.
Much appreciated 👍
Great video. Sorry i'm not much into scfi but the van was cool. Thanks for sharing. I did build the uss enterprise for my cousin and just could not get into it. Thanks
Thanks. I know the sci-fi isn’t for everyone, but it’s nice to build something other than cars every once in a while!
Cool stash adds Mike! I'm looking forward to seeing you build them! Happy Wednesday 😎👍
Thank you!
Very cool adds mike. I'm loving the bandai star wars stuff. I think i need to pick up their snow speeder. You should do a comparison video on them.
I record one, but I lost it when I upgraded my computer. If I can’t find it, I’ll record another one. I have a lot of Bandai kits to compare to AMT/Revell. Bandai are usually 2x the price, but worth it in fit and finish
Cool stuff.
Thank you 👍
Super cool stuff Mike!! Awesome goodies. I love Star Wars too so that’s too cool. Love the Impreza also. And the 4x4 van and dirt bike. Don’t see that everyday.
Something different to add to the stash. Not your average HL haul 😆
@@ScaleSpeedworks absolutely!
I have never seen that van kit before. I had the old Monogram black Chevy Van at one point.
Thanks! I’m not sure where I saw the van first, but when it came with the dirt bike I had to have it
Very cool kits.
Thank you! 👍
Yea just chuck the tube of glue. That non toxic Stuff dose not stick to anything
🤣 good to know!! I appreciate you stopping by 👍
When I saw your title, I thought it looked really familiar! Great job on your first episode. That STI looks like a really nice kit. Some great stash adds.
Much appreciated Larry! Joe is really on to something 👍
nice
Much appreciated 👍
I had bought 3 Hot wheels. An Art car, 32 Ford Roadster, and a Merc. And I would never do anything illegal but....my bike got there before the Impreza. Nice segment Mike. (125 Rods)
Thank you! This was really fun doing this and of course shoutout to Joe for the idea!
I was going to leave a sarcastic comment. But since Joe approves I will say.... Great buys Mike. I love the van. Don't be ashamed to admit you built Star Wars lego! Haven't we all? Great video buddy.
Thanks Joe! Sarcastic comments welcome! 🤣 Model kits are much (much) cheaper than Lego! Although…stay tuned, I just purchased a Bandai kit 💰
Love the enthusiasm. I have the Car Craft California Cruiser version of the Van, which was the precursor to that kit. No motorcycle or other goodies, which is bullshit. How many of those Subarus have you chased down in your job? I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: time to get back to reviewing kits, especially the weird ones.
Thank you 👍 Hopefully more Classic Kit Review soon!
Heck yeah Mike! Run with it! Cool adds, I'd better go do mine!
Great idea, thanks for sharing it with the community! Now I need to go buy more stuff for next week 🤣
This series is pretty cool! I was waiting to see how long it would take to catch on. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Mike 👍
Looking forward to see it finished!
Thanks! This will be part of the BG appreciation build 👍
Enjoyable video Mike. (125 Rods)
Much appreciated! Thank you 👍
This kit looks a lot better than I expected it to considering the age of the mold.
Thanks! The detail is decent, but it should be no surprise the Bandai kit is much better. This kit should still build up to be a nice looking final product 🤞
Cool. I haven't built one of these since they first came out in the 80s. I'm glad you are making a full build series on this. Brings back memories. Can't wait to see the rest.
Thanks Onix! The Bandai kit is much better in terms of design, fit, finish, detail…etc (no big surprise there!) but it might be over most people’s budget 🤷♂️
@ScaleSpeedworks the bandai kits have no equal when it comes to star wars kits. I might try and get a bandai and the amt and do a comparison build. what I wish I could find at a decent price is the bandai star trek stuff.
Looking so cool. Nice to see a build video from you.
Thanks Joe, more on the way. This is for the BG appreciation build
Can't wait to see it done 👍 looking good
Much appreciated 👍
Nice shout out. Busy Bench. Congrats to William. I'll be watching
Thank you 👍
Joe has a cool channel! You have a few projects going. Congrats to William on the win!
Many thanks Kreg 👍
Wish I hadn't missed this video. I am going to get me one of these .its in my hobbylink cart. Great idea on the build. Following
Much appreciated! Best of luck with your build 👍
Congratulations to William!!!
