moonveil with the woodgrain wouldnt be half bad, plus you get them around the same point of progression, since moonveil is a durability drain, but thats like the single niche use for it, dont saying its placement should change but just bringing that up obviously sage ring +2 is all that'll ever be needed but the witchtree branch and the saints bellchime (i cant rememeber this ones name) give a soft dex of 99, so those are actually what give the fastest casting speed

The Skull Ring does have its specific uses. Mainly in co-op. One person can equip the ring, and the boss will be agroed onto that player 95% of the time, at any distance, ignoring everybody else. Usually the tankiest and most armored player who is ready to play as distraction equips it, and others damage the boss.

Blue Tearstone ring is there to keep your finger warm until you find literally any other ring. A ring that boosts damage when your HP gets to the point where basically any attack will one shot is simply an adornment. In fact, just two days ago with a new character, I saw the effect trigger for the first time in 8 playthroughs.

The concealing ring was actually pretty useful you could stay hidden as you wait for more invaders to come help you with ganks. Also the slumbering dragon ring would be used with with the untrue white ring and then hidden body and you could walked past groups becouse they would think your just other person in a different world. That was used for trolling many times.

A ring that gives 15% boost at max health > a ring that gives 20% but your health must be so low that you get 1 shot.

The late rings are because Fromsoft assumes you will play NG+. I think most players want to blast through the game 1 more time with a complete build as payback to all the mobs who made life hell for your level 30 character.

Lloyds Shield Ring is absolutely essential for SL1 and it's very easy to manage because you can completely refill your held from 1% with a single estus. I would say it's the single best resistance boosting ring, maybe the best defensive ring, especially for how early you can get it.

I had to comment when i noticed it You repeatedly mentioned having to wait for the Elavator for the Dragonslayer Armor fight But you dont When you use it step on the button to send it back down then roll off Now when you die the elavator will be waiting again without having to wait
