Thank you for the information bro
What's the count now?
Anyone know the difference between the Taurus 44 and thr Raging Hunter 44 besides the rail? Is the Hunter made to be more durable?
A great video on the S&W 642 38 revolver in stainless steel with excellent wood grips big money 🤑 the only problem with this gun is the stanless steel is after 2 months with everyday carry and shooting it it does not look good anymore 😮
I think the doe was attracted to the music… 😂 Seriously, good shot, nice video 😎👍
Are you sure they just didn't send you a new 605 .
Seen you playing a Les Paul before... You don't do this gun channel anymore?
I do play a lot of les pauls... I am not currently uploading new videos. UA-cam got so weird with their gun rules, and I reached my limitations physically with my competition abilities, so I decided to explore other avenues. I have many videos that i had completely finished or had shot and edited most of that I never uploaded.
@@johnnyshootsalot Wow that's cool tho.. You do good work bro as far as producing videos and content. I'm getting a new Taurus 856 matte SS with altamont walnut grip today wish me luck! But I had a G2C and it was an excellent little pistola tho so...
The price has gone down after COVID
I call that bull💩
Luckily in Georgia we have a lengthy firearms season. This past summer I got a 686 talo edition 7 inch. I have taken a few deer with a Ruger Redhawk in 44 mag and one with a 45 ACP . I live in northwest Georgia we have either sex The entire season
As far as accuracy, check out hickok45, he makes it look very easy to shoot it quite a distance.
Lost me at driving is a privilege but owning and carrying a gun is a right. The 2a was not an argument until recently, as it was understood to be referring to militias. Regardless, safety laws can be in place to help deter gun deaths and accidents, and ensure people have proper safety training prior to owning a tool that can kill. Like cars.
in the 50's and 60's a bad .22 cartridge was really almost unheard of. of course I wasn't shooting any semi-autos either. price, size, reliability this is hard to beat for a modern pocket pistol.
I picked this gun up at a local pawn shop for 350 didn’t come with any red dot plates hopefully I find this online. I’m excited to get this gun to the range. Also good video bro got a new sub
Very góod review thx.
I would agree on the accuracy of the TomCat. I have an older, thin-slide version with a Crimson Trace griplaser. I have it zeroed in and it's spot-on at 7-10 yards.
Great Video, I have yet to see anybody compare the ruger lcp 2 22lr and the ruger sr22. If you have both what do you think the difference is between the two?
Im seeing a variety of reviews for this lcp 2. Its seems like a 60-40 split. 60% seems to love it and it runs great. 40% absolutely HATE this pistol and have stated it has never functioned correctly. I was going to buy one today and thought "Nah, I need more information before i buy this .22"
Classic grips are great.
My 605 is a great gun. Problems with any firearm.
Same on the winchester. My tx22 hates it. And it's really not picky
Woooo
Have seen a few videos critical of Smith’s lately, in particular the PC Ultimate Carry. Which has caused me to look towards Taurus. I guess Ruger is an option, though I already have an SP101. What I really want is the fiber optic front sight and the Smith supposedly has a fabulous trigger. Oh well.
Out of stock I've got the Airsoft version it looks exactly real cause that's all I can find
Your explaination of legally defending yourself after you use your weapon in self defense is spot on. One of my instructors at my CPL class was a lawyer and he assured us you will be arrested after the shooting, you may not be charged but will be arrested. Then you will be looked at very close by the prosecutor for anything that can be used against you. A .22 will be easier to prove you did not mean to kill than a .45
The counter point to this: Because it's likely to take more rounds of 22lr to stop the threat, does someone on a jury think you look worse if you have to fire 2-3 rounds of 22lr as opposed to 1 round of 9mm? One round of 22lr is quite likely to be insufficient to immediately stop an attacker
Love mine
You should always make sure that any scope, and mount scope rings are property torqued down to proper specs and blue lock tited.
Nice take on both accounts! Good job on the vid and the hunt.
Agree, great self defense weapon!
Keep in mind, with these short barrels, there is no reason to use hollow points as the bullets can’t expand at these lower velocities. Find a good 40gr round nose solid that functions reliably, and stick with it.
Love that the Taurus has the ribs and the porting. Taurus revolvers are well made and the customer support is quite good since the relocation to Georgia. Have a GX4 9 MM that had a recall, they sent me a shipping label, it was back in 15 days.
Can I use 22s for the 25 Acp automatic
Missin you Bro
Hey big man , I've got both of these items as do you , I've got 2 recommendations for you on the .22 and 1 on the max as follows: .22 - TandemKross windman +4 bumper , 14 in the mag and 1 in the barrel = 15 Sigurd short stroke trigger , absolute solid upgrade .380 - Sigurd short stroke trigger , I've got 10 and 12 rnd. mags for my .380 , 12 +1 = 13 , all good in my book . both items run flawless for me , not near as many rounds as you , but no hiccups either .
Would you say the Lakeline comp makes a difference?
I’m on the fence of getting me a 856 is quality control still bad on this gun?
i just took delivery of a new 21A but have not fired it. In my pre-purchase research I watched a number of videos with some recommendations on ammo. One reviewer said he will use only the Remington Golden Bullet, all else won't cycle well. Another said his will cycle well only when using the CCI Mini Mag. Now I am hearing, use only the Aguila Interceptor. Hmmm...the point is...I am going to find out for myself and that might be different from the rest.
Great video. I know that you are supposed to seek out differing opinions, but its nice to hear one that is Exactly like your own. Thanks.
Are there 13 round magazines for this model?
Hey I live in Georgia
So awesome to learn its likely to need the installation of an aftermarket spring in order to "eat" most ammo. I mean, i dont buy a car knowing im going to put a different part in it so it accepts all major brands of fuel. Lol seriously
I have had a similar experience with the Winchester 22lr ammo. I inherited a 500 round box of Winchester Wildcat from my Dad that was about 20 years old and had 0 issues with it. I bought a new new 100 round box of Winchester with problem after problem. Thanks for the video and keep shooting 👍.
In the old days of the wild west you probably only had let's say in a day fired your gun 24 times just an example at the end of the day before you go to sleep, you clean your gun and oiled it don't you that's taking care of your best friend who keeps you alive wright. 700 round's is excessive pressure to a gun it becomes very hot and dirty with carbon it gets everywhere your cylinder shaft will run dry and won't spin freely with carbon build up on it. 700 round's is excessive on firing pins and springs you will have problems. Normally your hand gun in its life in self defense had only say been fired three to six times probably or more in it's life and yes I know you fire more times than that in target practice but never 700 round's it's not a toy your life depends on it, he's your friend he keeps you alive wright so treat him as much with kindness.
I got the talo edition security 380 only difference mine has a gold barrel. I really like it.
Ive had my 642 for 8 years.......my only handgun
Wait… HST’s are the premium bonded bullets. Hydro shock bullets are a less effective alternative.
New sub
A friend picked up one just like that one with a 8-3/8" barrel for $400 and it came with 400 rounds of ammo! He loves it, I tried to talk him out of it and he won't part with it! That stainless steel will last forever!
I bought a 605 last week. When I was loading it it fell apart in my hand. Sometimes you get a brand new one and the yoke screw is not tightened. If the yoke screw falls out the cylender assembly will fall out. For me I perfered shooting .357 and did jnot find the kick to be not too bad. I tried .38s and it was not bad. It shoots nice but a gun that falls apart is not a good idea.
I wanted to see how good you got at shooting it. I have a keltec p3at which is what Ruger initially copied for their 380 pocket pistol design. Granted, it’s a bit smaller than the version number 2 but it’s a very long trigger pull and a very small gun. It’s nearly impossible to hit anything with it. However, if I were to shoot 10k rounds through it, I suspect I’d get pretty good.
