Huey Helicopter arrival and departure with full shut down and start up
A wonderful visitor graced our sky in the shape of a beautiful twin Huey helicopter
Its sound is so distinctive so I thought I would pop out and film its flight in and out.
Turn up the volume and enjoy the sound! It made my hair stand on end plus the down draft from the rotors got a little choppy

The Napier SUV tent is it any Good ???

I don't know about you but in Canada with all the critters roaming around at night I would much rather sleep in my car than on the ground so why not turn your SUV into a camper with this simple addition. You use the tent for your stuff and sleep in your car. I spent 4 weeks camping in this tent across the Rockies and Drumheller Alberta and have to say I love this tent. Yes it is an absolute pig...

How does a drone perform in cold weather?

On the eve of my 53rd birthday I decided to head down the gorge into a frozen riverbed armed with a stove, some tea and my drone. I was interested to see how it would perform in cold weather. The temperature was minus ten and dropping with zero wind but there would also be an expected further loss of temperature as the drone gained height. My conclusion was that the conditions did not effect th...

I really got tired of trying to hear what you were saying, between you rubbing your hand over your mouth while you're talking and the loud music I could only hear about 2/3 maybe of what you were saying. I'm sure other people heard more and they are going to tell me I'm an idiot or an asshole. But I would rather tell you why I stopped watching the video so that you can at least decide whether you want to change or not. That is entirely up to you.

4 minutes?? It took me more like 40 minutes to set it up, with a foot-pump (didn't have the pump that comes with it new). Going out to buy a battery-powered pump today. Otherwise, very happy with my first trip down the Bow River in it, a mostly 'lazy' river, with some choppy bits, particularly on a windy day, as yesterday was. Used my own, heavier, paddle. Only half-filled the bottom of the seat to aid stability. I just left the skeg in place when I packed it up; wasn't immediately apparent to me how to 'unclip' it. A bit of a challenge getting all the water out after. As a first-time kayaker (as opposed to rubber-dinghy pool-toy-er), I highly recommend it.

Thanks for the excellent review! I've been looking for a tent to use with my minivan. I was concerned with being able to close the hatch when I'm away from it for security. I plan to use it for attending weekend traditional archery/camping events, and I'll have expensive bows to secure. I'll take your advise on a full size rain fly and should be good to go.

I think so ....its a bit of a fight to put it up but Im still using it and has not let me down yet plus its nice to sleep in the Element Only thing I plan to add to the set up is one of those tailgate tents over the clamshell at the back of the Element so I can sleep with the tail gate open ....So basically the entrance to the car is a tent door...Hope that makes sense

I bought the K2, brilliant fun in the Thames Estuary where it can handle mild waves and rolls easily. My only problem with it literally, is getting it back in the bag after a session. It's really difficult to get the air out completely to get it back in the bag. I have to leave it in the garden overnight with the valves open to deflate overnight.

Hi Richard I ditched the pump you get with it and upgraded to a 2 stage pump ....the one with an inflate and deflate outlet so all the air can be sucked out then its easy to get back in the bag ....hope that helps

🇨🇦💖 please let me know what you think of this! I bought one today at Canadian Tire on the last few hours of the sale, for $180. I'm a 63-year-old overweight woman who used to be very active at all kinds of outdoor activities. I am also very handy and creative so, I think there must be a way to modify the skeg and also make the front of the kayak more water Worthy. The skeg might be easier but I'm still pondering something like a sleeve over the front of the kayak that would definitely not rub or create drag, but be a secure enough to cut through the water. I have all kinds of ideas but let me know what you think please and thank you.😁🇨🇦💖🐻🌏
