This is why they keep taking away things from us. Because people keep trying to find a cheap way to make supressors and are using items that arent intended for that. So if people try to form 1 this then they will ban this item. Thats what happened with the solvent trap. People kept trying to form 1 them when they werent ment for that and then they banned them. Im sure this will be the next item they take away. This item is not ment for that and some of us would like to buy it for its intended use. If you cant afford a commercial supressor please dont ruin it for everybody by trying to turn something into a supressor that isnt ment for that.

Pro tip if you have a small enough punch and you hit the side where the pin is visible it will bulge out the other side of it and then you move then trigger to a surface where there’s a hole under that bulge and hit it again the pin will come out an no drills are needed. I learned this from Johnny Glocks.

I have to admit Pete, this is a much better video than first one of this toolbox mod. I have to agree with one of the guys that said it talked too much. But everybody has their own preference I suppose. I really did enjoy watching both of them. I'm going to have to do this to my kobalt toolbox. I do have a question though, instead of making this battery-powered is there a way to plug this into a 120 volt power outlet? I know nothing about electronics or just the basics. Any insight would be very helpful. Thanks again

Are the baffles one inch in diameter and what about using wipes I think that might work and then you can just replace them when they get bad but having different sizes and thickness of wipes would be a cool experiment

Good stuff! I wanna do something similar when I Kaizen foam my box. I was thinking of making an illuminated socket size bar. So far, my idea is to use blacked out acrylic strips (about the width of a BIC lighter) with the numbers stenciled out so that only the numbers are illuminated. The overall setup would be: deep sockets on top, illuminated size bar in the middle, then the shallow sockets below that, so that the size lines up with both the top (deep well) and bottom (shallow) I was wondering how I could power it only when the drawer was opened when I stumbled onto your vid
