    Hello, how much flour do you use? Why does the yeast go in the pan, not the yeast tube on top of the machine?

    That’s a very useful video! We just bought a Panasonic bread maker and our first attempt was unsuccessful. So I looked for videos here, to see how the bread should come out. And sure enough your video helped! It turned out that we haven’t put enough flour the first time (so a kitchen scale is very much recommended to get the right proportions). Our second attempt came out beautiful :) Also the tip on adding olive oil is brilliant 👍

    salt should not be poured on the yeast

    After Stir 2 get your hands wet, push the dough to one side and remove the paddle, and put the dough back into a nice shape. Also, yeast almost always goes in last.

    I haven't used mine for a few years and so downloaded the manual online. I discovered that there are different versions of the machine, which is a bit confusing

    Don't mix the yeast with the salt as this can kill the yeast. The yeast should be added on top or the flour to keep them seperate.

      The real solution to this problem is to bloom the yeast first, before adding your salt, this way the yeast has had time to multiply and create a stable environment.

    Everything about this video is wrong Don’t place your machine too close to the wall or edge Don’t add salt next to the yeast Don’t add yeast in the middle of the bread making but on the edge All the above instructions are in the book

      You are right, but the presentation is good and after seeing this and reading the comments, I ended up with buying a bread maker myself. I really don't mind how he placed the machine. I would guess it's there because it's a presentation and maybe not the normal place to have it? So no judgement from my side. The yeast does work this way as well, but it could have some bad proofing results. The finished product looked good though, so it's not that bad?

    It's a good idea to lift the Pan out and pre-warm it before you add ingredients, it makes a difference! 👍

      Interesting idea Some people have suggested warm water added to the pan helps then draining it to pre warm helps We have not tried this yet

      who tf uses an electric grinder for pepper?

    • @Agoodname4u
      @Agoodname4u Рік тому

      I was gifted an electric grinder. I use it for pepper but hate using it for salt. It’s too slow so makes cooking slower. It doesn’t hold as much salt so I have to refill every few days. It also takes so many batteries!! So i am constantly using batteries up. Maybe would be ok for people who don’t cook daily. 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Have two Panasonic breadmakers. 1 ends baking programme close to the end so bottom is cooked but top is dough 2 Basic programme will not mix but dough programme will. Would be nice if Panasonic offered real custome service and be upfront with possible fault histories and fixes
