Переглядів 3 тис.Рік тому
Greetings from Finland! Often times when I mention that I’ve moved to Finland, one of the commonly asked questions is what do they eat? Well, here is what they eat during Christmas time. The Finns like this so much that IKEA offers a buffet during the Christmas season. For IKEA family members, this is priced at 14,99 euros for adults, and 6,49 for kids under 12, regular price is 2 euros more if...
This was so interesting and different from my own country
So cozy, I love it!
Thankyou. Would like to see your new home after you move. I liked the sauna
belated hapi new year, new subscriber here Watching replay from Jeddah KSA sending support without skipping ads
Happy New year 2025❤
Living in Lithuania made me realise that prepacked and basically cupboard food in my country is overpriced even tho it's a long shelf life food... The fresh produce is way more expensive in Finland than Lithuania... Thanks for the video :)
I'm from a country where most people are are lactose intolerant, the dairy section looks like heaven to me!
Why not leave a communal set of sheets and bedding there? Love the visual explaining the families lol how do you decide who gets the cabin and when?
lol the tree losing weight 😂 does everyone have a sauna in their home?
How long have you lived in Finland? And how did you end up there? New subscriber here 🫶
Hesburger was way better when I lived there.
One of your videos popped up on my feed today and I’ve gone through all the ones on your channel that I can see. It’s been great seeing a bit of your life there. Wondering how long you’ve been in Finland and if you like it there. Must be so different to the US. I’d love to see more of your surroundings too. 😊 thanks for a lovely few hours watching..😊
I’ve never seen anything like this in Australia. What a great concept. I think rent of the space is enough without them adding commission, but then I’m not them so they might need to.
Fishburgers won't sell very well here, I guess that's why they aren't at the list. We finnish prefer fish different way... Also ryebread doesn't fit to be a burger"bun". I eat it at home all the time, and like it, but wouldn't order at a burgerplace. I like Hesburger more anyways. 😅
Close the toilet lid when doing a tour. It’s a turn off.
Looks "onolicious' as we say in Hawaii when something looks delicious. Well actually it's just, "ono" but for me when it looks really delish I add the "licious" part lol.
I think this is very cool.
I just might starve if I moved to Finland.
It would be interesting to see a small child running around in all those layers.. Just getting dressed is a chore in itself.
I give you credit because I could never. I hate licorice...barf. Plus now that I've seen the horrendously unhealthy ingredients I'm so glad I loathe them.
Very interesting. Thank you.
Didn't look impressive. No fish filet 🤨. It's the only thing I order from Mcds.
gz your husband has autism 😅 the way he picks eveyting from the back row
My favorite dip powder is Estrella Tzatsiki. Nothing else even comes close.
Licorice and salmiakki are not the same thing even close... other one is sweet and other salty lol, buy turkinpippuri and something that says salmiakki and leave laktritsi stuff to the store
In Scotland we don’t refrigerate eggs
If you happen to suffer from high blood pressure, you should not eat licorice or salmiakki.
Salmiakki is salty ‘lakristsi’.
IKEA Raisio.
McDonald’s used to sell fishburger.
Its up to each person but remember to eat less then 30gram of Licorice otherwise it can be an "negative" effect ,think i saw an study that they had test even on healthy people they saw an increase risk .I love Licorice and i try to each less than 30g from time to time like ones a month or so.
eeww, what's that!? French fries with womit?
Little experiment, now that you have tasted salmiakki. Don't know if it works on somebody who don't love salmiakki, but: If you watch this video or just think of salmiakki do you notice like a fountain of saliva opening under your tongue? Can't think any other edible having this effect, just salmiakki.
Try silver toffee, hopeatoffee. Thats pretty nice salmiakkitoffee candy.
BITE the Tyrkish pebber.
This is the third video I have watched. Your vlogs about life in Finland are nice and fun. I am gonna binge watch during Christmas. Happy holiday to you and your family. Cheers! Jojo from 🇬🇧
SO happy I was recommended your grocery store video because I absolutely love your vibe. Cheers for sharing parts of your life with us all!
You have a rich man.
Most of Finns have summer cabin.
Finland has a high standard of living.
These cabins are often inherited. Finns spend their summers there and like half of them don't even have electricity/running water so...
@turpasauna Tiedän, koska olen suomalainen.
@@anneliseppanen9105 juu ei / yeah no
Thanks for the great cabin tour. Your place is cozy and warm. The lake view from the living is fantastic, too.
Recently found your channel and really enjoy it. Thanks for posting!
Neitsytpolku ?
finlandia or china?
Good to know that I am NOT the only one who gets items from the back and never the first one..."cause ppl touching it" love when he said that lmao.
That was a fun video. It is always interesting to see how different countries celebrate Christmas. Thank you. Merry Christmas😊🎉
Thank you! Merry Christmas!
This was in Raisio, right? That used to be my spot when skipping work lol. 2 hour long lunch breaks 😂
Yes! Great eye 😄
That is the most elaborate version of a classic Finnish salmon soup I've ever seen, and it seems mouthwatering. I must try it.
I'm in Ontario Canada and It's always fun to see what is popular to eat in other countries. I would like Finland for sure. I'm a big cheese and rye bread person. Blood orange juice sounds divine! The convenience/ready made foods look really tasty and legit.
Finnish rye bread isn´t sweet. It is more sour and chewy. If you get a chance get Reissumies or Vaasan rye bread, it is peak finnish ryebread
1:22 did not expect a terry fox book in Finland !
