Journey to America: Part 3 - The Graduate Years
Переглядів 543 роки тому
Between the years of 2012 and 2020, I lived in the USA, and it was the most life changing almost eight years of my life. "Journey to America" is a story of what those eight years looked like for me. The highlights, the lowlights, the adventures I had, best friends I made along the way, amongst so much more. "Part 3 - The Graduate Years" talks a little bit about how I was able to stay in the USA...

Some of my friends and I spent a few days in Raglan, New Zealand! It's such a fun surf town filled with lots of fun and delicious food, adventure, and great weather! Watch along to join us on our trip :) And hopefully, when the world opens up again, you'll be able to come see for yourself! Переглядів 973 роки тому
Hi everyone! I'm Annabelle, and I am a creator of sorts. I like to craft, bake, and travel, and I want to share those things with you :) In this video, I am baking some of my most favourite cookies in the entire world - Cadbury Caramilk cookies. They are literally so good and if you're not sure what caramilk is, it's basically caramel and white chocolate combined. If you are interested in purch...

Pretty good Anabelle :)
Quanto mi piace 🔥💯✌👍🌈🇮🇹
Hi Annabelle. It was a pleasure seeing some of your crafty creativity. Thanks for sharing. Three songs came to mind while watching: "Master Potter," by John Fischer; "Up, Up and Away," by Fifth Dimension and "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," by Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwo'ole. Tasty remainder of #InternationalHamburgerDay, and Terrific #TrinitySunday...
Thank you, Rick! Thanks for sharing those songs. I will have to look them up!
Thanks for sharing, Annabelle. Praise the LORD for His many blessings (including YOU)! And, Kudos for your MBA and various work accomplishments! I look forward to Video #4. Happy #InternationalDayOfFamilies, tomorrow (May 15), and #WorldBakingDay (May 16)! [Maybe you could do another Baking video, perhaps with a Family member...] Many blessings upon you and your life as well...
Thank you! I'm sure I will do another baking video at some point! They are fun!
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing, Spiritual Sis. Until I looked it up, I thought Raglan was on the South Island (because I presumed you were back living in Dunedin). How wrong I was (on both counts?)! Interestingly, I recently re-connected with the Bishop of the Lutheran Church of New Zealand. He is based in Wellington, but he has been helping to serve a vacant congregation in Hamilton (which, come to find out, is quite close to Raglan). Enjoy these final few weeks of Fall...
Hi Annabelle. I'm glad things worked out, for both your camp and educational experiences, and that such were enjoyable. (By the way, I get the feeling that at least the camp was Christian-connected. Am I correct? If so, was the university also such? Presuming so, are you a Spiritual Sister? Just a pastor being curious.) May all be going well for you and yours these days. Wonderful Weekend and Blessed #AnzacDay...
Thank you so much. And yes, I did attend a Christian university, and would also consider myself to be one!
@@annabellehooray Praise our LORD! It is a pleasure to share fellowship with you, Dear Spiritual Sis, even if it is from across the world. I look forward to learning more about your journey. In the meantime, Happy #GlobalLoveDay, tomorrow, and #WorldLaughterDay on Sunday! Marvelous May to you and yours...
That was such a fun video!
I'm glad you were able to enjoy that journey, Annabelle. I look forward to learning more. And, it's great you could experience some of Colorado! Mom lives in Longmont, while I live four hours southeast of her, in a rural setting of the State known for its cantaloupes and watermelons. (On a side note, while challenging in a small town, as well as a small country, it still is possible to have some "wow" in life. Over the years, the church here has hosted many concerts, movie-showings, seminars-and-such. And, we even produced my first Mini-Musical Play...) Happy remainder of #InternationalMomentOfLaughterDay, today, and #WorldArtDay, tomorrow (April 15)! Blessings...
What a lovely story! Can’t wait to see the rest of your journey.
Hi Annabelle. May this find all well with you and yours. Your cookies look and sound tasty. And, I like the story of your website. This evening, I happened upon your channel and enjoyed a few videos. You then had a UA-cam hiatus of several years, it seems. Is that when you lived in the USA? Presuming so, where was that, and what was the occasion? (I happen to live in Colorado, and serve as a pastor.) Are you now back in Dunedin? And, does your creativity include music? (I seem to recall that you studied such at the University, at least for awhile.) Blessings upon you, your renewed interest in UA-cam, and all else in life! (I'll leave a short note on your website, so as to provide my e-mail address, if you prefer to respond via that method.)
Hi Rick, thanks for your comment! Yes, I am just now getting back into UA-cam, and it's been really great. I am actually going to be posting multiple videos of what my time in the USA looked like in the coming weeks. I am back to NZ now, and have been spending much of the last year working on various crafts and making home decor. So no music - it didn't end up being something I was passionate about.

Never seen marmite in a red jar it’s always yellow
Your not using Marmite correctly. First you need HOT buttered toast. Then about half a tea spoon of Marmite spread across the bread like SKID marks. Mmmm.
Its too long hard to repeat!!
Bonjour le collège alberto giacometti

How are you
The residents of that long-named town are obviously taking the piss.
