Nene is AWFUL. Its like she's trying to speak english for the first time. She's really fond of emphasizing the word NEVER! and then slightly pausing before she moves onto the next word. And that pathetic, animated FACE! She looks like she's doing a really bad community theatre production. Next to the other REAL actors she looks like a mugging, pathetic amateur. I love these people that only receive rewards (a part in a Broadway show) because they're Popular on TV. But, I suppose those who think she's "talented" on TV would also think she's "talented" here so good on them.

I had no idea Keke Palmer has such a good voice! I don't care about the face expressions. People who watch a lot of musicals know that these expressions also help the actors to sing better and more theatrically.

She might be the first black Cinderella on Broadway. But Brandy will always be the first black Cinderella in movies. But love them both not because of Keke I just love theater. Wanted to see the difference theater version. Yet again I say the Disney version is better version. And why this person keep on messing around with the camera.

I think she did a great job most of the time, just her switching emotions was a bit confusing and unnatural. Like at the beginning, she's got a big smile and suddenly she looks like someone she loved just was brutally decapitated in front of her. I don't agree with the people clowning on her, she still did a lovely job, just she needs to tune her emotion switching. It's just a wee bit intense for me, even for the stage, which I completely understand why she did that, the camera is zoomed in and we're experiencing it differently than the audience. I still do think she could have toned it down just a tad. Also the odd accent that she uses, I'm not sure if that's natural, but it sounds like it's either completely fake or she's exaggerating her existing accent, and unfortunately it's really hard to listen to her. I feel bad for so much criticism, but someone should have told her to tone it down, Cinderella is supposed to be calm and gentle, Keke's felt a little frantic.

I would have been PISSED to have paid a Broadway price ticket and gotten off-off-Broadway quality. They all did a good job for why it is, but this is NOT Broadway.

I have never been a fan of Ke Ke Palmer, but she was great in this, she also has a GREAT voice.

i was front row for this production of Cinderella. The cast was chosen bc of their talents, like most broadway productions today, not by their race. Sherri Shephard played the evil stepmother. I really enjoyed the added political aspect of this production! This was Keke Palmer's broadway debut and she was nothing short of amazing! Her parents are veteran stage performers and her mom helped Keke in her transition from tv/film to the broadway stage. After the show, the stage door was inundated with tons of fans, any of them little girls, hoping to see Keke, get an autograph and a picture with her. Keke did NOT disappoint! She spoke to every single person there, gave autographs, took selfie's with them (her mom even took some of the pictures for the fans) until every single person waiting was gone. I know this for a fact because my daughters and I were actually the very last people there! She didn't rush off and was so gracious to everybody. I was so much more impressed by her because of the time she took to please all (and there were many many) fans who waited for her. Her class shone bright on broadway that night!

She sounds lovely, but I don't know what she's doing with her face. It's just weird. Like sure you've got to exaggerate a little when playing to a theatre that weird, but I can't figure out what emotion she is going for. and her mouth when she's singing, it's just kinda off putting. But she's better than Carly Rae
