Sol Badguy voice comparison- Guilty Gear Strive
japanese is perfect, english is a little bit eh, korean is strong and proud.
You mean to tell me Ky doesn't sound like a femboy twink in the English dub? Absolute blasphemy.
Man... the english sol could have been so good if he didn't sound so tired, i mean i get that sol never tries hard but c'mon! If he's going to dragon install at least make him scream it!
*Gets hit once.* *C O U N T E R !* "Yaruka, Tyrant RAVE!!!!" *SLASH!*
If Dual Rulers gets dubbed in many different nations. I'd like to see their portrayal of Sol and Sin.
Man these voice actors are am- IS THAT BUG MAN??
bug man if he was a badguy
Cool ahhhhhhhhhhhh edit
Nothing can match the raw POWER behind the Japanese VA's buster lines
Honestly korean guilty gear voice-lines are so slept on
he's beating his fucking wife
Korean, tho the English dub's HPB is 10/10 holy shit
The Japanese Version is better on every aspect except one. The Heavenly Potemkin Buster voice lines are phenomenal and I prefer it over the Japanese version.
" You are an Abortion,Kazama Jin. 🗿 "
Noob jin
Kazyua in his mind: why because we're too strong? 🗿
Its kinda like the Killer Instinct announcers tbh. The default announcer sounds like he is *losing his goddamn mind* whereas the classic announcer sounds too chill, almost like he's forcing his excitement. When I land an Ultra combo with the default guy it sounds like dude is foaming at the mouth before he bites a chunk out of his desk and falls over dead. Classic sounds like the dude was mildly impressed. Same here with Potempkin. The Japanese voice actor is throwing every ounce of his soul into his delivery. You can hear this man flex, and part of you worries he's gonna shit himself with how much he's exerting. The English VA sounds like it's 2 am and his mom told him to keep it down. Bro wants to get hype but can't. This feels like a voice direction problem tbh.
Wait, didn't this just come out?
Heh that’s clever
S A L V A T I O N -english potemkin
The target is the Osean capital of Oured.
Love that in Japanese he says Potёmkin
Turns out that in Korean is literally my husband (Gregor)
WAIT BUG GUY VOICED BY SOL VA?
@@Meowsamurai yuh-huh
needs a bit more “BUSTA!!!” For English but still good
Song name? I know its playboycarti's song but i don't know the name of the song
Extremely hard man
English said volcanic diaper!
1 year ago bro i can't believe it
awesome
Fire asf 🔥
Korean DI scares me
I use the english voice cause its cool i guess
holy shit gregor limbus company :3
Falta el doblaje latino y que diga POTEEEEEEEMMMMKIIIIMMMM DEEEESSTRUKTOORRR.
If we're at a house party, nothing is more obnoxious and funny than hearing and doing the english dub of "heavenly potemkin buster" over and over against people lol
Is that trunks jp va??
yeah it is
@@iimraiju107 cool
Japanese = all I hear is the son of prince saiyan
W edit
Imagine if they editted the voicelines of EN and KO like they did with JP.
It's just too bad there isn't a Spanish/Latin/Russian dub. Russian GG fanbase deserve something after all these years.
JP Ride the Lightning is unmatched
happt caho caont have cool combos
My god that english Tyrant Rave was the weakest i have ever heard! It started out good but fell off so badly at the end! He didn't even try to scream out Rave!
Other voice lines for tr sound better though
The japanese voice actor puts his whole existence into the shout
he`s sounds like a allmight
HHEEEEAAAVVVVEEENNNLLLYYYYY POTEMKIIIIINNNNNN BUUUUUUUUUSSSTTTEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRR
“Heavenly Potemkin Buster!” Potemkin said calmly.
he`s sounds like a allmight
All I know is people usually don't like the language they understand and prefer the others
Because that was the language it was originally meant to be heard in so the actors they hire are a lot more professional unlike dub voice actors which are usually freelancers
korean tyrant rave really is underrated
There is just something so powerful about the way he says “Resound!” In the dub. He sounds commanding, truly fitting of a king
240p montage
?
On the subject of the English voice having more growl like the Japanese and Korean voices, would Fred Tatasciore be an agreeable choice? Judging by some of roles I heard him do, I think this role would suit him a lot. Edit: Here are also my rankings. 1. Korean (both gruff but not forced-sounding for my taste) 2. English 3. Japanese (sounded like the voice wasn't properly let out)
how does it feel to be objectively wrong?
@@Addyrail It's just voice acting, dude.
@@CarloNassar still wrong. also nitpicking and biased. I win. bye bye.
@@Addyrail Wrong over what? Preferences I know not everyone will agree with? You're just being a troll or a bully, and it's stupid either way.
@@CarloNassar nuh uh. you are nitpicking and biased. I win. Bye bye.
i love how for hpb each language has a "does it the best" part English's "I will not let go" perfectly sets the tone that this move will *hurt.* Korean's "Heavenly Potemkin" is just straight up terrifying but of course none of the two got the "BUUUUUSTAAH!" part better than Japanese
