And what is the water to Lye ratio (or Lye concentration?) please. Without this information we can copy you but can’t adjust Soap Batch volume correctly with certainty. Thank you. The ratio of water to lye is not at least double water to lye. Is there a reason for this?

I just made shampoo bars several weeks ago and was finally able to use them. I'm so happy with them. I don't. Even use conditioner now. I use 1tbsp of raw acv in a 32 ounce main jar of water as a rinse, then I rinse that out. Works like a charm.

A heads up, you can put the stuff that's touched the lye into vinegar water. Vinegar deactivates lye. Same as if you get it on your skin, put vinegar on it. Wipe your surfaces down with vinegar too, to be safe and do not ever reuse plastic for soap making with other stuff. If you use glass or stainless steel, you can do the vinegar then wash it a few times and reuse safely.
