How does discoball impact the meta? Using it in multiple games so far, I've been able to alpha into DZs with very little effort. BOYG shooting a disco ball on 11s at 48" band, is an insane thing to see to remove ARO pieces to allow Shona and friends to just walk into the DZ. With it not being a face to face, it's just so easy to block out lanes and pieces. Linked pitchers are SO much better, getting pitchers and discoballs into or near DZs are hilarious to me.

If they fix turretspam (probably by adding SWC cost to the good ones) and keep an eye on a couple outlier offensive troop profiles, I think N5 will actually be really good. The games I've played of N5 have almost all been live until the last turn, with the one exception being a deployment oversight that would also have been death in N4. You have to bring over 200pts of defensive pieces to limit the alpha strike now, a greater proportion than in N4, but that's both possible and more consistent than betting on the Lt. roll IME. I wouldn't complain if speedball got nerfed or outright banished to the shadow realm, but I don't think it's fatal even in it's current state.
