Happened to stumble across this video since I'm getting back into infinity at the local store. You guys do a great job with the camera angles and marking the locations of models. I felt like I could follow everything going on the table and still understand the play by play. Ty for putting this together.

Nice job, much fun to watch! Id like a bit of after action commentary by both players.
We filmed some but both players were so exhausted from playing with the cameras that they barely remembered what happened 😀. Next time we come back post-edit to get a breakdown of the players after watching it. Maybe Swiss Miss could do a reaction video color commentary on the this battle report as well?
I just played my Starmada vs. Kosmo just a few weeks agao. My haris Chaksa pulzars and Psi cop nanopulsars were fantastic! Ok you dodge? I'll just shoot you with my damage 16 Mk12 then lol.
I love to hear this. You rarely see chaksa but I think they are better than people give them credit for.
@@morgunevans3676 I think they are best in Starmada due to good Wildcards. I tend to have a Psicop hacker. But a Bronze is good too. The Chaksa I like most is the Redfury. After +1 Damage it's essentially an AP+Shock Sptifire with better long range and only 1SWC!
Awesome vid! Just fyi the roadbot has rem presence and NWI so it could’ve still gone NWI. Takes three wounds to kill a roadbot usually. Not a huge deal but just thought you’d like to know.
Ah yes, I should have put that as one of the directors' notes. You are correct that it's an often-overlooked rule that units with remote presence and NWI or Dogged can choose to trigger the state even when they receive multiple wounds that would push them into 2nd level unconsciousness, as long as those wounds are all taken at once.

Was a little confused by the Kosmo player chose second when they could’ve just picked sides? Seems like such a big disadvantage for not a huge gain. I see the reason why, but neither deployment zone look fantastic for defending
Bear in mind I’ve only just started watching so happy to be proven wrong 😂
This is a mission that HEAVILY favors going second when it comes to scoring, since it involves having models in contact with the enemy antenna/console. That makes having the last turn to run in, touch the objective and call the game a humongous advantage. This was especially true since I had a parachutist in the wings
If I picked deployment, Morgun could have made me go first and have that advantage instead. It's a risky maneuver but one I feel strongly about for missions that favor going second like Power Pack .

I guess I’d prefer to put that decision to my opponent instead, especially given the army you play hits like a truck, going first against an army like Starmada would’ve been my preference. But this is with the advantage of knowing what the Starmada player was bringing, going in blind against Starmada you might’ve been worried about crushers and Santiago knights
So infinity is not alternating activations, it’s just reactions… idk how I feel about that. I really want a skirmish game with alternating activations but in-depth rules
I’ve always found infinity very engaging for both players 100% of the time. I hear chess is pretty cool for alternating activations though.
