Memories❤
I first was touched by this voice in 1972. Now I am consumed by this fire of Jesus. You are consumed too! Lord today let us hear you say our Name and let us bring Glory to your Name!
Beautiful!
Is Annie still singing and blessing her audiences?
Beautiful song almost spoiled by horrific picture of Jesus - ugh! What were producers thinking?!!
Its cool
I heard this song when I was in my 20’s and thought of my grandma at that time. Now I’m a grandma 😮 The years go by so quickly 😢
Beautiful song, Annie! So good to hear something from you after all these years, praise God!!! Since the 70's, your 1st solo album & 2nd Chapter are still played regularly by my wife & me. Not only for nostalgia, but because of the anointing, which is always fresh. And it's just dynamite music. Dan
Matthew Ward is the glue
A personal love song, shared so very much encouraging. The Body of Christ is edified greatly!
Who from the 80s as far as Christian comedy is still around were they the only group that was around what are they doing these days
Amazing and encouraging
The Almighty , himself, is the only King. What is wrong with you?
whatever do you mean? Jesus is God, He is King of kings
So true.
I had their last cassette tape
thank you for this song and my redeemer..they are a great blessing...go to visitation.webs.com to see a message from JESUS TO HIS PEOPLE IN AMERICA...AAA
When I roll the cursor over the video before clicking on it , an insulting joke picture of Jesus appears. Its insulting, and it should be removed.
Not insults
Annie, I have always been blessed by your music as well as by your bother and sister. Saw you all in ATL along with Keith Green in early 1980s.
Beautiful!
MAYBERRY IS THE GREATEST SMALL TOWN THAT EVER WAS!!!
O brother Michael what a way to present scriptural truth, just beautiful
the sameness in the Old testament and the New are amazing.
I LOVE ANNIE HERRING AND THIS SONG , HOWEVER I TEND TO AGREE WITH THE OTHER COMMENT ABOUT THE WIERD JESUS PIC
I think it was done in ignorance at the time. This song is anointed by the Holy Spirit; makes me want to draw closer to God.
Very weird...
@@debbychapmandavis8778 Yes its picture dont be carnal.
Please, don't put this kind of picture representing Jesus, it grieves the Holy Spirit. it is a mockery
And which one isn't? "YOU SHALL MAKE NO GRAVEN IMAGES OF ME!" So all the pictures you've seen that represent, in man's mind, JESUS, are not HIM either. If you're waiting for the man in the pictures as JESUS, you're gonna have a long wait, friend. What does Revelation 1:14 tell us? PRAISE THE LORD! Nice song. Randy S.
I see what you mean. Evidently, the creator of this video doesn't care enough to change it, or doesn't think it's that bad.
@@Monorail-Beyond-the-Veil so many people today have no concept of what God is like, and have no holy fear of God. So often this is evident in the frivolous, catchy sayings churches put out on their signs for people to see.... It grieves the heart of God to see in what shape so much of the Church is today
@@nadiahope1175 I totally agree.
I think it was done in ignorance. We've come far, but the words of this song are anointed.
So good, praise The King Yeshua.
So great a song in my life. I have heard Matthew sing it until now when I heard this version. Annie Herring is my all time joy of singing. Matt is stronger though.
In my opinion, this is the best song from the album.
Scripture as usual. listen andyoull learn more without you knowing it as it should be.
When I was 13 I played Papa in this skit. It was really hard not to laugh when I had to say the Alpo line. Love this skit and all the cross referencing to the other shows that Michael Landon and Lorne Greene were in. 😂😂😂
A beautiful song , Praise be to God
I love all of the 1980-ish cultural references! Here's the Alpo ad they referenced: ua-cam.com/video/QH7l56FC3xI/v-deo.html
He ate the bread of Heaven Drank water from the rock And the grumbling children followed like a misbegotten flock. He climbed upon the mountain they couldn't even touch Could've known that one encounter, would have ever meant so much And up upon that high place, in a cleft of solid stone His face was set on fire, as the God of Glory shone He alone had seen it, and had lived to tell the tale, But because they feared the fire, he had to hide behind a veil Chorus 1 A Face that shone with the radiance of the Father Though he had known and endured dark desert days A face that shone with the Glory of another Soon the prophet would discover, as the glory was fading away He was the bread of Heaven, He would be the Smitten Rock He had 12 confused disciples, they were his bewildered flock When he climbed up on the Mountain, he took Peter James and John In the face of pending Glory, they soon began to yawn. As he prayed while they were sleeping, he was transfigured into light His face a flush of lightning, and his clothes so burning bright So Moses finally saw the face, before he'd hidden from then came a voice from Heaven, This is my beloved Son Chorus 2 A Face that shone with the radiance of the Father Though he had known from the start, that it was so The face that shone had let the light shine out of darkness And we're changed into his likeness, as we gaze upon the Son But you and me we tend to flee from shining faces, We wee the glow and then we know that we are undone They shine His light into our emptiest of spaces, and with their bright and shining faces, Reflect the radiance of the Son Chorus 2
What a beautiful rendition of a great song. Go AH!
Lovely song.
ANNIE HERRING ..A TRUE GIFT OF GOD TO THE WORLD.....AND also her Brother and Sister ..who made up " The Second Chapter of Acts "
She has clearly been chosen by God. Her music is inspired by God.
@@susiejames9748 So are you. CHOSEN.
Living in this temple, Dealing with this clay, I've been known to compromise, You have seen me turn away Though I am distracted by a temporary thrill I could never live outside the center of Your will. Resolutions broken, promises unkept. You have held my faithless heart Like a father while You wept I've been on the edge before, and I have felt the chill But I could never live outside the center of Your will. (Bridge) Keep me in the center- In the center of Your will Center of Your will (repeat/echo/harmony) I am bought and chosen, servant to the throne Following a higher call, for my life is not my own. Though I sometimes fear this place, and find it hard to fill I could never live outside the center of Your will
Great song written by her brother Matthew Ward. What a blessing that family has been musically to the body of Christ. Praise the Lord Jesus. Hallelujah!!!!!!
After being diagnosed with brain tumor this song I sang over and over.
Bello día aquel con Cristo
da da da da! Bonazza!
I love these lyrics! This song should be better-known.
Sadly the christian artist like this are not well known....they are in it for a ministry rather than the money. But their reward is waiting in heaven which is infinity better than the riches of this world.
I think they are on Facebook facebook.com/isaacairfreight
hey does anyone know what they are doing these days
SUPERB!!!!
I looked for this some time ago, to no avail. Thanks, Laurie, for posting this stuff! I still remember the religion store skit in particular. Brings back good memories. I pray for the young Christians today, that they can find the good kind of 'warm fuzzies' I got back then. Press in, young bro's and sisses!
Favourite lyrics to any song, ever. Must remind myself of them when I deal with feminists. Only Jesus can take away the crushing burden of anger. Great pictures, too.
Please post all the songs from the Kingdom Seekers album.
Heart of a worshipper!!!!
Thank you so much for posting! Corny but OH soooo good!!!! Still trying to decide if I like this one or Jerusalem Dragnet better....kind of leaning towards this one....
A sobering thought.. Will we hear 'well done'????
beautiful
Thank you for this! Nice to hear this performed by those who truly believe what they sing.
