Love your design. No one shows the hinging of their designs. Think you and would you show us your design? I’m planning a large full four foot wide staircase that will be controlled up and down using a jib crane configuration. The jib crane will double as a loft lift. I need to design an automatic locking mechanism but user friendly safe with a redundant locking backup for safety. I also want to incorporate a strong handrail that will freely travel with the retracting staircase. Building a mezzanine at this present time and looking for ideas. I would be pleased to share my design as well.
