How to disable auto start/stop feature on a Jeep Grand Cherokee wk2.
If you are like me, a Cleetus McFarland watching fan with a lead foot and you drive like he drives his crownvictorias at the freedom factory! Than you know how it could get annoying when the vehicle stumbles at the light when you are ready to get going and it takes its sweet time to start up.

Step 1: Removed the kick panel, using pry tool, pull out 3 retaining clips.
Step 2: Pull down the kick panel out of the way.
Step 3: Reach under the dash, and unplug the 12 pin connector from security bypass module.
Step 4: Connect inline "Auto start stop device" a blue light will flash momentarily, alerting you that it is powered up and ready to be used.
Step 5: "optional" zip tie the lose wiring for a neat and organized lay out.
Step 6: Reinstall the kick panel, makesure the clips are aligned and pushed all the way in.
Step 7: Start and drive the vehicle and enjoy the comfort of having options to set it in off position permanently.
