I use to walk to rite aid on 10th and Fargo. If you are trying to encourage walking, which I'm so happy to hear this, then this side of Hanford could use more varities to walk to besides gas stations and a couple of yes, nice small shops, but something is missing over here. Maybe an affordable place to sit outside and enjoy some healthy food and drink. Maybe outdoor music. Maybe a quiet park to ralax and enjoy our natural nature in the Valley. Seems like there's a park for everything but just finding a quiet place to park and enjoy. Shade trees. I lived in a town that occasionally showed silent movies on a outdoor screen like theater. An area of that can always provides a peaceful, healthy and restoring area for everyone that can beifit for regrouping our mind and soul. Thank you for reading!

That whole area is infested with drunks, junkies, parolees and other vermin that the outgoing chief never allowed the officers to adequately deal with effectively. Why do you want to piss away more tax dollars to allow criminals easier access to victimize the poor home owners on the south side of town? When I walk or ride my bike I just use the 11th or 12th avenue overpasses that MY tax dollars already paid. Eradicate the parolees and other vermin before you even think about applying for another grant

Sooo a bridge to mitigate the homeless walking on the highways and roads quit beating around the bush and just say the truth lol that bridge will be trashed,graffitied, and camped on long before residents use it for biking and walking to those areas you specified

Would it be similar to the one in McFarland?

Some towns have walking paths through town but cannot use them because of the homeless. What will you do to ensure safety for people while using them

The. Douty Bridge doesn't do that? That goes right to the middle of down town. So what Im understanding is you want one to go to Social Services to Connect the North with the South? What effect is this going to do to our Taxes?

How the city is not able to find someone to build a site that processes payments within it's own site is beyond me. I was excited for about two seconds when I seen the city website had been updated, but then seen we are still being redirected to yet another site to handle utility payments. What a pain, and reminiscent of 1990's internet credit card processing.

Whatever floats your boat, you power crazed government lackies. Doesn't matter what people say, you're gonna do it anyway. My 2¢, No thank you. There's too many selfish idiots hell bent on "me first" to yield the right of way on these roundabouts. It's just going to result in more accidents and damage needing constant repairs. Hopefully, this foolish idea doesn't cost anyone their life but I doubt even the prospect of that will not cause you to put the kibosh on this ridiculous plan. Freaking, Commiefornia!

So the question is, what member of the city council has a friend/family member that will be building these things? Stupid idea seems like grift to me.

The amount of traffic does not warrant such an expensive and invasive project. Visit Historic Downtown Hanford works best with streets somewhat reflective of the original layout.

The cost is too much with no advantage to traffic. It would reduce the flow of traffic and endanger pedestrians because of the room.

I do not like this idea. There does not seem to be a need for roundabouts, it causes nothing but confusion and they should not be where it is pedestrian heavy!

First of all, the video is unclear. At first glance 6th st, 7th st, and 8th St are not really deserving of a major reconstruction. Yes there is a lot of traffic on 7th but roundabouts are for intersections. What is the cross street for this major project? The video appears to just pick 3 street names and throw them in. Seems if you are trying to sell people on the idea you would be more clear on exactly where and exactly why and exactly how this plan solves the issues. A lot of people are confused by roundabouts and I dont personally believe that this video shows anything to make that confusion worth the hassle. But on another note if people cant figure out now too yield the right off way maybe they shouldnt drive.

Strongley opposed to this idea and concept. Do not do. Nohting but accidents at Lacey and Highway 43 at the roundabout.

This design leaves pedestrians at risk for injury. The Pedestrian crossings are located in blind spots where anyone crossing would be seen last minute causing either a vehicle/Pedestrian or vehicle/vehicle accident.
