my biggest problem with the lego dinos is that they can't eat minifigs. like the Indoraptor (biggest one I own) can't even put one of those STUPID LEGO BOARDGAME MINIFIGS IN IT'S MOUTH. THE ONES THAT ARE LITERALLY 1X1X2 BRICKS!!!!!!

I share your opinion on the stegosaurus. Its my favorite dinosaur and I had to buy it in the new style, but I am bothered by the legs. Why are they unprinted. The Triceratops from 2012 aswell as many other dinos using those legmolds have printing. Kind off disappointing, because there arent too many herbivores yet. I also have the old adventure version with the grey legs. I wanna buy the one with orange legs too. Its not my favorite Style of Dinos, but they are kinda cute and usually rather cheap. Those parts are like over 25 years old and cost less then modern Dinos from two years ago. I am buying them used tho. New might be different. Anyways, nice video! It stopped me from studying. 😅

I love Lego Dinos!!! I had all the Dino Sets from 2012 as a Child and have been collecting them since. I just bought the Therizinosaurus and Echo and Charlie to complete the JW 1 Gang . Really exiced for them to arrive. I am jealous of your Ankylosaurus. That thing is so expensive. Even used. :( I have the baby tho. XD Great Video

lego dinosaurs was some of the best toys for me, the T.rex is great, triceratops too but when i compare them with for exemple Playmobil dinosaur, the Lego Brachiosaurus is too small and lazy, Stegosaurus didn't have any articulation ( not better with Playmobil can't swing the tail but move the head and foot), last time i saw the Allosaurus and yes it look good but a bit gigantic, the Giganotsaurus is the worst for me, Indo's face + sadly the fact that they didn't made a Sinoceratops or Nasutoceratops

I hope they improve and the irony here is that Lego Jurassic world the video game legend of Isla Nublar the secret exhibit and double trouble exist

Lego generally has an thing with moulded animals where they are mostly solid bricks with the minium amount of posing. The only exceptions being the LEGO dinosaurs theme in 2000 and the two elephants for the adventures line. Pretty much every lego animal has been the same, just a solid piece with barely any articulation. Personally I would rather have them make dinosaurs the same way they made the animals in the avatar theme. Brick built with unique parts for the head. That way theres more ways to customise the dinos and they can articulate better.

I know why they are getting worse. It’s because of ninjago. We get almost no new moods for the sets up until 2020 being that’s why we were getting amazing sets until then. Then ninjago got more complicated sets with new moulds so Lego is spending so much money on ninjago and not Jurassic world

Holy shit bro I’m not trying to be rude seriously I’m not. But this video is all over the place. The first 5ish minutes are people much completely useless I mean you don’t have to explain the title people already understand what your talking about just from common sense. You also just talk about a lot of stuff that has no correlation to the subject. I would suggest working on making the script more concise and also toning down your voice so it’s more digestible right now it’s just too much if you know what I mean. I’d also suggest changing your lighting set up when showing the dinosaur models, I mean if your goal is to show the differences in the Lego models of the year then why is the lighting so dark, it makes it difficult to see details and I found it overall just frustrating. I’m seriously not trying to hate right now I like your channel and respect it but I just think there are a few things that might really increase the video quality

Yeah it's a shame, because they could be so cool. But lego is a company so they will cut costs wherever they can. I do hope they stop reusing pieces that just don't match at all. Yes, new molds cost them money, but they make 8 billion a year right? Accurate molds are a one time thing for each species and they can just keep those dinosaurs in different sets. Also, that awful brachiosaurus could have had moveable legs, that could then be reused for different long necked dinosaurs. If they now make these bodies with less parts, like the stegosaurus and the now not moveable wrists for indominus, they can't even reuse parts that would have been easy to apply to different dinosaurs

as a french lego dinosaur fan i agree with you. for me the problem is not the size (carnotaurus and allosaurus are my favorite lego dinosaurs and they are oversized) the problem in my opinion is that lego doesn't want to paint the legs of the dinosaurs and i don't understand why. i think lego should definitely stop using the indoraptor legs, because that's a big part of the problem (and yes the therizinosaurus is terrible, even the color is not good there should be more red on his back)
