Searchin' the sea and freedom on the roads of Corse du sud. Dedicated to Sic in his memory.
Chester really cooks here!
Back in those days they were more Avant Garde.
Stunning sound...¡¡¡ The best...YEAH😎😎😎
I miss Jaco P RIH
Thanks Joe……
Would you, please play Shorter
Chester and Alex are two of the best players in fusion oh and Kenwood Dennard
Maybe non players can be excused for not appreciating what it takes in pure energy to accomplish this level, well here it is.
Wow!!! So Gooood...
Why cut it off during Joe's solo?
About at 9:00 wayne not happy with the intonation.
What makes this era difference is The latin influence of Don Alias and Alex put to 1976 Heavy Weather! RIP Don Alias
W・リポート決してジョーのBANDではない。神様は見ている。
Tremendo
From Zappa to Weather Report to Genesis (Chester). That’s fucking crazy!
Alphonso is a good bassist, Jaco is FANTASTIC!
When concert toms ruled the world
Magical weather report
Slim is killing that bass!
Un chef d œuvre.alphonso...incroyable bassiste..spellbound
Oh this version of Badia doesn't have that call to Prayers from Tatoween shoot
Amazing rhythm section, Alphonso Johnson and Chester Thompson. Mr. Thompson would eventually find his way to Phil Collins and Genesis. Wonderful to hear a live version of Mysterious Traveller!
He also spent some time with Frank Zappa 😊
❤❤🙏🙏
Chester!!!

👏🏾👏🏾 Thanks for sharing.
Rest in peace Wayne!
funkiest version of WR to these ears!! wish they would of done more. Jaco's coo esp as a soloist but I personally feel the groove more here, a little less stiff
The first song sounds like 'Cucumber Slumber'.
still love it!!
I always think that such Musicians might be coming from the space at that time.....I cannot imagine being there at that time watching this live concert.....I could have been simply shocked and amazed about such Incredible Music and Musicians, there are no words to define such Super Super Talented Musicians!! at that time playing in such way.....
wauh....

That Wat i call good drumming Chester is on firer...Wow :)
"what" "fire"
Man what an intense groove .I love it.
Alphonso Johnson is actually my preferred Bassist in Weather Report.
I can dig it
I like him a lot too but for his post-WR work
I agree
he actuallly plays the bass
He plays bass, in a weird and uncanny way. No show off. I love it:)
Alphonso is the greatest! I just love that particular era of Weather Report. Some of the best grooves and jazzy bass there is
Saw these guys. Wow end of concert a Joe looks at Chester to see if he has one more song in him. Chester shakes his head no, and that was it show over. Never saw a drummer put so much into a performance.
Hearing "Girbralter" on Black Market made me fall in love with Chester Thomson's drumming. One of my absolute favorites. His use of opening the hats with a snare rim shot and ample flams has stuck with me ever since. I just love it.
Out,sanding 😎
Beautiful ❤️
