Treble 'n' Bass cigar box guitar by Chickenbone John
I've been meaning to make one of these for ages, and here it is at last! A bass string and tuner in the low string position for added depth and drive to your sound. This one is tuned in C G C. No fancy split output, so you can plug this a straight into your regular amp. I'm going to make some more of these, and I need one for my live set!

This is a simple 3 string guitar - single coil pickup with volume control, but it has a solid wood top, braced like a jazz guitar, so it's got a fair bit of acoustic volume for such a little box. Decorated with a Japanese "Yomiuri" newspaper and lacquered. Here's a new guitar kit from us...with a lot of the hard work already done...neckstick glued-up, cut to fit the box and notched for the pickup.
