Freaking awesome the batmobile
Yes it was. The last time I seen this vehicle was in 92 at the Seattle Auto Rama. The Transformers Camaros are next week. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
@@DanielAtkinsFirewood the bumble be Camero
@BrennanRaihl : Yes both of them.
Great job Dan!!!!!
Thank you. So far, it's been fun putting these videos together. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Everyone: You can't buck small logs with a 32in bar. It makes no sense. Daniel Atkins: Hold my beer.
Haha. Right 🤣 I like the longer bars as I don't have to bend over as offton, and my reach is better too.. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Nice work. I like that trailer a lot! Any plans for a conveyor in your operation?
There are no plans for a convayor any time soon, plus I don't really have the room to put it. As for the trailer goes it's the its the best 500 bucks I have spent. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
You're one of the only guys here who have consistent large rounds and no box wedge, so maybe you do need one, they seem to produce lots of trash for kindling tho
I have thought about it , but sometimes getting the surprise twisted stuff can be a challenge. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Nothing like putting in a good days work
And a day away from the office. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Hello. I like to split in squares but since logs are round I end up with some triangles. The squares bundle better.
The square ones stack nicely, too, compared to the odd shape ones. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
That 4-way splitter head really speeds up the splitting! The Wolf Ridge is certainly making your business a bit easier. I'm surprised you didn't see the BIGFOOT cross the lawn behind you at the 2:57 mark!!! It was a BIG one, probably a grandfather! Take Care Dan, All the Best to you and your family this Thanksgiving!
Yes, sure does. The 6 way wedge goes faster in the right size of wood. As for Bigfoot, he was probably checking out Sasquach cut out I have by the firepit. 😂 Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Good morning Daniel, Daniel don’t need no box wedge😂👍🇺🇸
Definitely not needed in this Woodyard. LoL😂 Thank you for watching and commenting 😉👍
Nice. I split mostly big rounds and end up with lots of square pieces but my wife brought up an interesting point. The triangular sticks light easier and should dry faster. And because she’s president, vice president and ceo of the operation she won the compromise. 🤠
Same here with the bigger stuff as for drying faster, maybe. But when the lady says so, it's go for everyone without question. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Great job, love that splitter
You would know since you did get to run it. It's money well spent and I have no complaints. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Wait until you try it with the log lift on the correct side of the splitter! It is even better!
Gota love that nice strait grained barkless logs . Cuts good splits good and stacks good and absolutely loved the tunes .
Yes, we do. When I get a few odd ones, I just mix it all, and everyone gets a little. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Good show Daniel! I’m heading out to the cottonwood piles to do some cutting this morning. Called the sawmill yesterday and they want logs, 8-6, 10-6, and 12-6 and 12 inches on the small end or larger. Looking for a nice payday this week.
Thank you.i had fun making it. have fun with the log pile. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Nice looking firewood. Looks like a really good productive day.
Thank you, and yes, it was. Just trying to find up the season so I can go back to Greenwood for next year. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Are you sure you weren’t cutting power poles?😂 Those were some straight logs. Made some beautiful splits too. Well done Daniel👊🏻
These were definitely straight grain stuff, that's for sure, with beautiful splits too. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Gettin it done 🤛 what saw/bar combo are you using to buck? Great session.
This saw is a Sthil MS461 with a 32-inch bar. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Good work Daniel
@shotlifffamilyfirewood Thank you. Was a busy 2 days doing this, but was fun. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Looks like a fun day
Yes it was. Relaxing outside in the Woodyard too. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Nice Looking Wood Daniel. The Stihl Chainsaw you are using looks Like a MS-462, CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG. Your doing a good Job getting those Rounds Cut up. Very good Size and you Should have Plenty. Keep up your Great Video's my Friend. Hopefully see you tomorrow on Friday Night Live. Ron. PS- LESS THAN A WEEK TO GO TILL I CAN START CUTTING AGAIN. STILL GET VERY TIRED.
These are 461s I didn't want to go with a 462 when I purchased the 1st one in 2020. I will definitely be there on back40 live tomorrow. I'm glad you are feeling better, just keep up and take things easy. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Great to see you working in the wood pile again, Daniel! I love the way that saw just cut through the wood like butter.
Thank you. I enjoy working in the log piles and watching the logs go to a good use. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Hey Daniel, cool background music. looks like you got a lot more deliveries this year, by the way you're always fillin' up the trailor... Stay cool brother... Peace...
Deliveries are about the same. I just landed on more seasoned logs that could be used for this year. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Yes sir , Cutting and Splitting. Way to keep going Daniel. You probably have quite a bit of customers to keep up with , I’m sure. Later on my man 🍺☑️
Yes, I do. Seems like every year I get a few more, I am happy with that, too. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Very well done. A little bit everyday goes a long way 😜
You have that right. And it eventually goes away, too.. Thank you for watching and commenting, Russ. I truly appreciate it 😉👍
Your splitter won’t understand what’s going on. He will be thinking “what in the world? Is this how the other half lives”? #smsllwoodburnstoo. lol.
Yea, the splitter is a little confused with the smaller splits. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Good morning Daniel looks like a great day, making man glitter and getting exercise😂👍🇺🇸
@outdoorswithlarryrobin yes it was. Got to make more this weekend before I go back to Sothern California for a Mazda event. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Well played, Kind Sir!
Thank you. So far, I am happy and having fun with it all. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Lookin good Daniel, love that trailer!
@buildlife : same here. Best 500 bucks i spent getting it 9 years ago. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Love how that Fir splits! So satisfying to watch. Another great load of splits Daniel👍🏻👍🏻
Just like your Pine, it cuts easy, too. For here, tho it's the most abundant stuff we burn for heating. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Nice splitting. We are getting quite a bit of much needed rain here too.
Rain was definitely needed for sure. Now, the rainy and muddy season begins. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
loose clothing........ NOT full arm covering WITH protection........ glad you only have 1.76k subs.
Great job Dan!!!!!¡
Thank you. So far, enjoying the UA-cam journey. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Nice load of wood. Time to get paid!
Yes, and yes. He was happy, too, as everything was consistent in sizes. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Moving wood like butter
Hemlock and Fir sure does split nice and easy. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Hey man send all that rain here ASAP we haven't had a drop of rain in over a month and nothing in sight for the next week 😊
I will try. I know we definitely need it here as well. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉👍
That wood that has a hint of red sure does split nice!👍👍
That was Douglas Fir. Even with knots, it split awesome. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Good splitting Daniel
Thank you. The customer was happy, too, as everything was consistent in sizes too.. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
I love a custom cut order straight off the log. Don’t have to stack it and season it for a year or more!
Same here, In the spring, I am doing lots of split and load deliveries as i target the homeowner vs. campers. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Well played, kind sir!
Thank you. Doing these custom sizes is kinda fun at times as it breaks up the routine. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Like a well oiled machine
Takes time to be as efficient as i can. Sometimes it shows on camera really, really well. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Hey Daniel, that was good hop👍👍🪵🪵🪵 that you do a night time log splitting video soon
Depending on how well it shows up on the cellphone, I will definitely do one. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Nice work Dan . And that's some good looking fir !
Thank you. The customer was happy as it was all consistent in sizes, and i think there is maybe 5 or 6 pieces he has to split to put in the stove. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Great Video Daniel. Just hanging out And Recovering. Nice looking Oak Rounds and a nice looking Delivery Load. Getting Restless but still Taking it Easy and Walking alot but get very Tired. Try to Join in Tomorrow Night with Back40 live. Ron
Thank you. Yea take it easy. Even my Mom has had to slow down from things so she can keep going. She has had 2 afib surgery's this last year.. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Getting it done!
Yes, I am. Just a little bit at a time. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Hey mate, that wood popped apart. I think you’d have enjoyed swinging the x27 at it.
INDEED!!! Most of mine is real green. I need to get me a Tree-o-saurus Rex or the jaws of life to rip this stuff apart... Stay cool brothers... Peace...
Yes is sure did. I still have plenty left to use the Fiskars on. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
A Tree-o-saurus sounds like a good name for a splitter. 😅
Good morning Daniel, the Wolf Ridge is very efficient, but the truck needs its racks on it to be effective😂👍🇺🇸
Yes, it does. I have a Rack however I need to modify it to fit. Maybe in the next year I can make that happen. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Wow! Big tree. Nice ccuttin' and splitin'
Yes, it was. It was awesome to have everyone over just to chat and run some saws. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
You have quite a lot of firewood there Daniel, glad to see you are staying busy
I am definitely a busy guy , thankful that I am able to do what I can do. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
I like the stick glad to see I'm not the only one who carries one around. I always have my PVC in the back pocket when the chainsaw is running. Take care hope you have a good weekend.
It was definitely different using a stick vs. the measuring stick off the bar i have been using. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
Hey Daniel, sorry I didn't connect yesterday. we went to get Eli a permit to haul logs out of the forrest. we got him a real cool truck, and hopefully soon i'll be gettin a truck load of wood to prosses. Stay cool brother... Peace
No worries. What truck did you guys end up getting? See you on back40. Live in a few hours. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
