Two Touring Together

Hi there, we are Kate and Mike, a couple in our early 50s.
We bought our first tent in early 2022 and after about 6 months, and 3 camping trips, we upgraded it to a touring caravan in September 2022.
Soon after, the sudden death of a younger work colleague of Mike's tipped the scales on our thoughts about changing to something better, so we upgraded after 6 months to an A-class Motor home.
Now our love of the #vanlife is such that we have sold our bricks and mortar home (early October 2023) and bought a 2019 tag axle Auto-Trail Comanche to live and tour in.
Life is too short so we are just gonna do it!
We hope to move around the UK for our first year of #vanlife, then venture further afield to Europe.
As we both work full time 9-5 jobs, it will be an adventure in itself to see if we can live in the van full time.
Come join us as we venture off down the road to a better life.

Blackbrook Lodge Touring Park - Belper near Derby
Hi everyone
Welcome back to the channel and another video.
It has been a while since we posted a video.
After Stoney Acres in Shrewsbury we spent 5 weeks back at Overwater Marina in the hope that some resolution would happen with the faulty van.
Sadly, we had no contact or offer of further assistance other than another diagnostic to prove the issues were there before we purchased in October 2023. How another diagnostic will prove this, I have no idea.
We had booked multiple sites over the Christmas and New Year period so could not stay in the same location any longer and had to move.
Off we trotted to Blackbrook Lodge Glamping and Touring in Belper, Derbyshire for the week before Christmas. It is almost the half way point between Overwater Marina and Eye Kettleby Lakes.

When you are on the M6 and the road is clear, until you get to a stretch of road that slows to a crawl. This is the biggest thing I have ever seen on a British road!
