2000 Ford F-350 V10 Super Duty Neutral Safety/Backup Switch
Ford 2000 F-350 Super Duty V10 Neutral Safety/Backup Switch Range Sensor. If your shift lever is stiff or hard to move, the NSS may be failing. The O-rings in the switch seem to dry up and fold over which prevents the switch sweeper from rotating in the body of the part.
You will need a 5/16 Socket to remove the 2 bolts that hold the NSS to the transmission.
You can test that the restriction is not in the Steering column or cable by disconnecting the Shift cable from the transmission lever (make sure you mark the cable location first!), and verifying that the shift lever operates freely. With the shift cable *connected*, you can test the actual NSS part by removing the two 5/16 bolt from the NSS and checking if the body will rotate freely on the shaft. Make sure to mark the exact position of the switch before you remove the bolts. Or put the transmission in Neutral (wheels blocked, parking brake on) and then align the mark on the white ring with the mark on the block body and then tighten down the bolts.

DeWalt 18V XRP Conversion to 20V Lithium ION
Переглядів 39 тис.4 роки тому
DeWalt 18V XRP LiON upgrade. My old NiCad 18V XRP batteries were dying so I decided to try and upgrade them to Lithium Ion since DeWalt DC9096 18V NiCads retail for more than $75 each. The DCA1820 adapter allows you to use the newer 20V Max batteries on 18V tools, so it seemed very possible. I found I can do the upgrade to 2.5AH LiON for about $30 each and get more capacity (AH's), and fast cha...

WHY did you edit this so much, so short...we need to see disassembly and reassembly too....and your added filter you went to all the trouble to go buy and install, then skipped filming !? 🙄🙈 Very glad you opened with the opened, disassembled carb....I needed to see/confirm that float...I think that's mine's problem...stuck float...fuel just keeps pouring out of carb...even after both fuel lines replaced and new clamps.... Also glad you captured view of that spring on back of carb...another guy mentioned it as it shot away on his vid...but never showed it.
Because I wasn't thinking about making a video until after I solved the problem and figured out how simple it was... I figured I could describe it and provide some information.
How do u charge them
Genius. Saved me lots of money.
Good idea but charger won't work
Wow, that worked great? How much are those clamps?
Not much... Cheap off brand ones are only a few bucks
I have never seen screens on the inside of the house before. I do see why these are like that though as they crank out.
All you need is a heat gun but you also may need liquid flux to take the oxidation off the solder. And heat while the liquid is in there. Sometimes the connections get oxidation. Need to heat the back first a little if you can suspend the board, put a 60watt bulb turned on underneath it and let it warm up then proceed to the top with the gun. I like it done at the same time. 12:03
Agreed. Somewhere in the comments or maybe my description notes, I noted that more recently I add a little flux on the edge of the chip and then I gently heat the back of the board until this flux flows and gets sucked under the chip, then I heat the top of the chip for a minute or two and that seems to work better.
Thank you for making this video. My small screen is much more bent up, but the idea of making a jig and clamping it straight is excellent. Since the storm windows are an odd size, I'd have to get something custom made. I have a couple of vises and may use them, too.
I did the same thing.....Bingo!
Tim , did you clean off and add new heat sink compound on the main board heat sink? That might make it last longer. If the gpu chip can’t transfer the heat properly it could melt the solder again. It could be endless cycle.
Why is this not the first one to pull up when I research lg. Thank you God for this man.
Great idea. I was also thinking why not press out the kink. My screen has a serious kink on all 3 sides of the bend although it is not cracked or broken.
Tried making the jig, but was unable to, nevertheless, took the idea and just used 3 pieces of wood to substitute for the jig with family holding down the pieces and bent window screen frame back onto place!
Nice work! Others have used the same technique you came up with!
U cut the trench to deep

Such a great video! Did you ever do a follow-up showing how you completed the process? Thank you!

Buen día, que tipo de aceite usa?
I baked the motherboard at 385 for 10 minutes. Worked on one tv and still working 8 months now. The other tv wasn’t so lucky but the plastics don’t melt at 10 minutes.
3/16th or 1/4in filter??
I used Briggs & Stratton #5098K 75 micron. Looks like 3/16. There is a fuel filter at the outlet of the fuel tank but I don't think it can hurt to add this one.
So....WHERE is the conversion video?????????
Ingenious! Thanks!
Also, don't forget to clean the spark arrestor, there's an inner and outer screen.
That's a good idea... the durty idle jet seems to happen to rarely used generators that may only have a few hours on them!
I think it has a few design flaws as something so new and barely used should not be having so many problems, i have same generator having what appears to be similar issues, mine had the inline fuel filter i did that when i bought it . Ill try cleaning the jet and see what happens, thanks
This was a great solution. Took me about 5 minutes to make the jig, had a clamp and straightened it right out! Thanks much!
Worked for 65UB950V 😎🙏🏻 Thanks from Istanbul. Lg is real pain. I have problem LG dishwasher too...
Holy fregan shite thanks. And GE sucks
Its nice to see a Kid actually working hard, you don't see this happen often.
Tom was doing all the heavy lifting! He thought it was a good workout
Thanks for the detailed analysis and repair procedure. My wife has been enduring the cold start boot loops for over a year now. She started leaving the TV open at all times to keep it warm. Now the TV starts boot looping again after a few hours of being on, even when warm. I was ready to buy another TV, but I'll give this a try. Would really be a shame to throw away a perfectly good TV because a dollar's worth of parts failed.
Any update on this?
Bms 5s balance or enhance version you use?
Wow, that's great. Thanks.
CPE tech support told me that adding a fuel filter would constitute a modification that would invalidate the warranty on my 2500 W inverter genset which began to hunt and cutout at less than 30 hours and one month old. They told me that the carb might be bad and that it was back ordered two months out. This model requires that you dismantle half of the case to remove the carb but I did it and then cleaned the carb. Runs great...for about 4 or 5 minutes. Manual says that the fuel valve may be dirty and it is acting like its is switched off or nearly so. There are no instructions about cleaning the valve anywhere. I am starting to think that the single integrated valve/choke/kill switch is not such a good thing. Never had any problem with my Hondas with separate fuel c/o valves.
You could do what I term, "a consumer managed warranty..." Buy another generator and either swap out the carb and then return this one as defective, or just return your other one saying it doesn't run right under the new receipt. Like a lemon law, which is what you got!
The other thing you could do is buy a piece of fuel line and the after-market fuel-filter, drain your tank and pull off and save original fuel line and install your replacement "New and Improved with filter" fuel line and fire it up...probably problem solved.. if not, put original fuel line back on and call...but these things are simple enough that their "Warranty" is probably a waste of your time arguing with them...easier to learn the design and fix it ourselves.
Any other replacement for that wooden jig?
People of just put two wooden blocks on the edge of a table and had success. Read through the comments to see what other people have done
Awesome! So simple but we needed you to show us!
Is that 100% sand or is it a sand mixture with 3/8 pebbles?
It's what we call mason sand in Wisconsin. The next step up with the pebbles in it is called torpedo sand you don't want that. Although I do think some people use it. I don't think you want to deal with the pebbles in the smoothing and cutting and rolling.
Does anyone know a size for a replacement spring?
Thanks for this. Mine is doing this and I'll try cleaning like you said
It's hard to determine from the video, I would of like to see how high the final product is from grade
The first video in the series is the final result. But I think the front is about 2 in the back is like 3-1/2. The front is more or less level with the grass and provides a good mowing or weed whacking edge.
@@timgoihl watched them all! That came out mint!!!!
Hello. Great videos. I bought the same machine from a guy, who had only used it once. I noticed you barely had any jams, and put pretty decent sized scoops in. We had, I would say a very good mix with ours, but the machine jammed a lot, sometimes we would barely put any in, and the weight of it would jam the ram. the instruction manual says to adjust the crank arm if needed, but doesnt say anything else about it. Did you have to do that at all with your Klutch machine?
We were not able to fill the hopper. Tom was actually metering it in off the shovel quite carefully. The only jams I encountered was if an errant Stone got in the mix or sometimes we would get mortar balls in the mix from the mixer. Most of the time I was able to just turn off the power and turn the belt manually backwards a few inches and then restart it and it would work.
Curious, with the slope style, do you have to weed eat against it, or edge it ever, or does you mower deck cut it clean enough?
I can mow very close with the zero turn. the push mower gets closer. So , yeah, I still trim maybe every other mow to keep the concrete showing, but it is way easier to trim against the curb. I did back-fill with dirt and seed, which I probably did not need to do, as more grass grows close to the curb... it will naturally fill in.
