Can you please review the Klipsch RP 8000F series 2 ?

Evaluating the Lyngdorf 1120, the Marantz Model M1 and the NAD C700. I own a set of loudspeakers Dali Oberon 7. What is your opinion? what would be best to drive the speakers?

How would you compare to the Klipsch Cornwall IV you reviewed a while back? Although the Klipsch is somewhat pricier, both models seem to offer similar performance.

In your profile thumbnail you have the Technics R1. Have you reviewed them here or have a place where we could hear your thoughts? I have the SB c-700s and would like to know what you think.

Noise and talking - too loud and annoying

I think the Dynaudio Evoke 50s sound better.

This is a 87db speaker, it could not be more grey and middle of the way.

Thanks for this. Perhaps your comment on front row vs middle of the club has to do with the dipole nature of the speakers, which should increase the direct to reflected ratio of the sound.

I put on the Herbie Hancock song and went A/B between the Buchardt and Tidal... I almost prefer your video to the Tidall file. Better sub-bass and more airy. I dont get it. Very good video BTW, my first time here. Excellent.

Given your bass comment, it may be that what you are hearing with the Model D is actually there rather than 2nd/3rd harmonic bass content that you will get with other systems. Steinway Lyngdorf pride themselves on the linearity of their drivers.

When it all comes out of the wash, it comes to what sounds good to you. I don't listen to most reviews.

Peter Lyngdorf is the only audio specialist out there who really understands digital playback. Most audio guys only seem to understand digital from an analog conversion POV, Lyngdorf understands digital from a foundational level, which makes this system flawless, you don't get any of this clinical sound that you get from all these other audio designers. I'm going to sell off all this junk that I have and start things off with a Model S system, I also think it's time to get rid of my vinyl record collection as well because there would be no need for that anymore.

Peter Lyngdorf has finally got this system to sound the way he heard it in his head. This is real sound. Most people won't recognize this, since most people are so used to distortion. This system is about 10 years ahead of its time. Most audiophiles would find fault with this simply because they enjoy popping in and out of rabbit holes. But this is the last word in audio reproduction, it just can't get any better than this, whether it is for film or music....the last word. As for the price, it's a bargain

The biggest issue with Open baffle design is the lack of bass with regards to very high SPL (115+ dB). Because there is no compression for the bass drivers, their xmax the actual limit and it is never enough. This is an issue on very high dynamic passages like explosions or drum beats... When going from an OB system to a normal BR system, the first thing you notice is the different bass and how it pressurizes the room. If you never go past 105-110 dB, then it's ok, you will never feel the lack of it! Most audiophiles don't go over 90...so what are we talking about here?! One other notable difference is the way an OB system likes music with echoes...voices with echoes, sounds with echoes...are always more pronounced and offer a more realistic sound when being played on an OB system. Also,, the room plays a very important role, it's more than 50% of the sound, so special care must be taken when designing the room. For example if the back walls are very reflective, when the sound coming from the back of the OB reaches the listening position, it could be so out of phased that nulls in mids and even highs can be created. Also if the room is too big, the bass will be 0, bass drivers will not be able to pressurize the room and you will get a laptop speakers sound signature. It's not for everyone, has it's advantages and disadvantages. Always try before you buy. In your room, not the showroom!!!! People who sell these kind of speakers know how to treat a room to make it sound good for the speaker they want to sell!!!

For me it was always Lyngdorf. Until I heard Piega Coax series. CHECK IT OUT! ( BTW the Beolab 5's is impossible to not love!)

the recording sounded too bass heavy over here, probably because i already have eq on my system so it should sound perfect in real life. i do miss the deepest bass notes, at one point Stjernholm Reviews needs to hear a 15hz to 15khz full range system, with not sub bass roll off, proper flat to 16hz to the ears. you can get flat measured systems but that might not have any bass.

Speakers sound amazing! But i don't like the sound of the room which colours the sound too much.

Great video. The 888's to me sound like every best speaker I have heard, blended together. AKA, true to rhe source. I play over 30 instruments. I like the AJ sound. Realistic.
