First let me thank my subscribers, especially the OG ones for sticking around. This channel started as a car channel that dealt with shows and racing but when covid hit that all went to crap so I got me a boat and started doing some fishing, not that I am good at it but I have a good time. So there is a combination of both on here now along with some everyday stuff now and then. I hope you enjoy the content I provide. Thanks alot!

The Quest Angler 10 gets a little cleaning maintenance. The seats were getting grimy and moldy and just wanted to wash the inside down with a little with car wash and brush. Finally got around to running a permanent wire with circuit breaker on my truck for the winch on my trailer. This is going to make it so much easier at the boat ramp. If you get a lithium battery now before the 25% Biden battery tariff come on the 1st of January. It doesn't matter who win the election, that tariff is coming(It might stay the same or it might get higher.

I bought a Quest Angler 10 along with a Minn Kota 50 lb thrust trolling motor. The motor weighs 35 lbs. I reinforced the bow where I attach the motor because it seemed pretty weak to me. Have you noticed any problems with your bow mounted motor? My boat did not have the metal cover over the bow mount like it did on the back mount.
I haven't had any issues but I didn't have a motor on mine until after I reinforced it. Thanks for watching!!
bought me a 100ah lithium battery, took my quest angler 10 out and i have a bow mount 54 thrust trolling motor, and that battery did not go under 88 percent. I fished for over 6 hrs running the trolling motor. Man am i glad i bought it. It weighs 22lbs. If you buy one make sure u get the right lithium battery charger and make sure it is at least 10amp. 10 amps + 100ah = 5hrs charging time

What kinda battery are you running with the trolling motor I’m about to buy one from watching
I'm running 2 Everstart Walmart Group 27 Deep Cycle batteries that are run in parallel. I also run a 30 thrust Minn Kota in the front. If you can afford it I would look into a lithium battery. At the time I couldn't afford one when these go that's what I'm leaning towards just because of the weight. Hope this helps.

If your talking about the hull drains I installed I think they are working good. I drain them after every trip and still get water out of the boat. Appreciate you watching!

That's a great car show! My stepson is autistic and loves going and seeing "hotrods". You seem like you might be a little partial to MOPAR (you would linger on those a bit more) my very first car was a 73 Charger RT.

You could connect the boat to the winch, back the trailed down so the rear edge is under water, and then winch it right on to the trailer. No lifting required. I like your winch setup..

Where do I get the connector for the front? I want to mount my trolling in the front
when I bought the boat mine came with it. You can Google 3 pin or 3 prong trolling motor plug. You can buy male/female ends together or male and female depending on what our boat needs. Hope this helps. Im pretty sure Amazon, Bass Pro or Cabelas has them.
Sorry that battery didn't work out for you. Lead acid batteries are so heavy so I don't blame you for trying a different solution. I bought a lithium battery and am so thankful for how light it is. Good luck on your fishing trip!

I have a PWM in a 24v 74lb and in a 43lb that's in the head and there's no need for a fan.

Could you not just pull power from to on position on the switch for power to the fan? Switch on fan on switch off fan off
I actually tried doing that. Luckily the fans I bought came in a pack of 2. The first one exploded when I did that after about 10 seconds and not coming on. Thinking it was a bad motor I connected the second one and after it also not working I quickly disconnected it and connected it directly to a test battery and it worked ok so I didnt take a chance. Not exactly sure why it is did this though.

Why you didn’t just screw it in on top you could have screwed through the drain holes
You could certainly do that if you dont mind them sticking up on top of the deck. That wouldnt work for me because between me and my buddy we carry 6 rods and lay them down in this area and mounting them that way they would be in the way. This was also the reason I moved my Garmin from this area (in a different video)

In my Quest I use Walmart Everlast Deep Cycle batteries. On the tidal river, when I have to fight current both ways we are on the water about 6 hours . That's running 2 batteries in parallel. They are 24 series batteries. In the jon boat I have 2 Duralast 24 series Deep Cycle run in parallel but have yet to use them. Happy New Year and thanks for sticking around!

@@monzsterman I wound up ordering two rails and 4 seat mounts. Did the measurements... and it should barely work out with the width of the seats I want. It would have been about perfect if it were about 4" longer.
