I like all your videos but I think you that backwards! You said pigmented are like oil and you can leave them for a month? Really? Canon printers do a nozzle check every 60 hours automatically, if they doint do it the head will clog. even if you try to print Canon will always do their nozzle clean first no matter what you cant stop it. Thats why Cannons never clog. They are total garbage anyway you cant change the waste ink, only on a couple more expensive Maxify's. The rest you throw away. All pigments dry up if you dont use them once a week, they turn to plaster like clay, super hard to unclog. My little Brother 870DW printer 15 years old with small 103 cartridges I can leave for a month and is ok. There is a good video about pigmented Epson inks. very helpful but very totally confusing video! 7 minutes into the video just say: "dont ever refill a cartridge until it says "DEPLETED" It must be totally 100% depleted!!!!"

17:20 Min.: You only replaced the original plastic sheet (film) by your tape. Why? I understood, that there is an ink reservoir in that chamber, which will cause an error ("Depleted") when full. But you didn't spill out any ink!?

Hi, in your title you imply "936" cartridges as refillable. Have you refilled them successfully, without any issues regarding chip locking? I'm about to jump to a new 9730e from my dead 7740 and I was wondering if I could keep refilling with the same process.

Greetings, I have a 952/955 Printhead. whenever I reflush/ the ink the cyan comes out fine, but after a few prints it will be gone. i dont think its clogged since the cyan come out perfectly fine but it does not seem its continuing the ink supply. any recommendations?

At 2:10 in the video, one may have the left and right side imprinted on the side of the styrofoam..eg (RIGHT-TOP|RIGHT-BOT,LEFT-TOP|LEFT-BOT) AT 2:35 one would see the bottom side edge is perpendicular while the tops have an indentation.

I have a question. I have a Brother MFC-J5520DW and I tried cleaning the nozzles the same way you showed by plugging a tube with a syringe onto the intake port, except I used warm water. My Cyan was the one that was the most clogged and when I pressed the syringe not much was happening, only a tiny bit of Cyan was coming out onto the paper towel, then all of the sudden all the water from the syringe started squirting out of the Yellow intake port while it was plugged into the Cyan port. I played with it a little bit then water started coming out of the Magenta and Black ports... Is that normal, or did I brake something by giving it more pressure?

I removed the print head and flushed each of the 4 nozzles with a 20ml syringe(fitted with a suitable refill adapter) till i was able to flush see clear water from each cartridge bay. I then had to ask my printer to clean its head scores of times till i could get the alignment & color's correct and this worked the trick for me
