I'm very disappointed, my bag is less than a year old and the edging on the area where the shoulder strap connects are cracking and i just noticed the silver hardware is peeling and the copper color is showing. Unbelievable.

I know I can get caught up in what others value in FB groups. Their enthrallment can transfer a “significance” to bags I wouldn’t have otherwise had; then there’s the fear of lessening its value because I might not keep it; and bags that are perfect and I don’t want to ruin them which is silly for a bag but I’m notorious for it.

I have the Ruby and love it. The Rogue has way too many pockets for me. The black Ruby is so well made. It’s a classy look. I don’t have any issues with the weight as some people do. I also haven’t had any issues with the zipper yet.

I was watching the youtuber Tanner Leatherstein who takes apart luxury bags and analyses the components and quality of the bags. He says coach puts a zipper that does not work well in both directions, something to do with the shape of the teeth I believe, so that is why the zipper works better pulled in 1 direction. SO you are correct use the zipper on the side that works best.

Do you have other seasonal bags? If so, how do you feel about those? The bag itself is cute, and looks sturdy and functional. But if you don’t want to take up room with something you’ll use only certain times of the year… I have ~4 seasonal bags and they still bring me joy. If this isn’t sparking it, maybe the $ could go towards something in the future? TFS 😊

I just found your review and it made me remember that I had purchased this wallet in the Coach signature print trimmed with tan calf leather which is lovely, so I have just filled it and I absolutely love it, as you say it is the perfect size. I too have just purchased a duplicate in the sale, in the same colourway as it goes with everything. Thank you for your reviews, I love Coach and the quality is outstanding compared to the higher priced designer bags etc, I have several of their bags, wallets etc and the leathers they use are gorgeous. I Live in England but am not near a Coach store unfortunately, so have to order online but so far everything has been good.
