I love that expression at 2:04 - 2:07! That lower line ascended into that 2nd/9th chord tone in ii9. (Sounds like its in G major anyway). Nice playing!

I found this composer's name while looking up Scuppernong Grape in Wikipedia. This is nice! There are two other pieces in this suite. I hope to hear them eventually. Miss Liz you play very elegantly! I am a retired symphony orchestra musician, and as such I have played many works by black American and British composers, most notably William Grant Still & Samuel Coleridge-Taylor. I treasure in my heart these composers and their wonderful music.

Where do you find new music? And how do you decide what to learn and play next?
Great question! With new music, I generally start looking for pieces by composers who I know and enjoy their music. It presents such a great opportunity to collaborate together. But I've also discovered other pieces through mutual composer friends, and also searching for specific themes or program ideas.
