Trench clearing with the ARMA 3 WARGAME MOD
Video showcase of a little new planning mode feature, stacking;
When multiple units are selected by the Zeus while in Planning Mode, dragging a path arrow will synchronize those units paths with the arrow being dragged.
When the planned path is executed the units will move together in a file.

-QUICK CONVOY SYSTEM You can use the 'FORM UP' option in a vehicle's context sensitive menu to tell a selected vehicle to follow it, you can select multiple vehicles at the same time to form a convoy. Hello, while driving any vehicle from one place to another using plan mode, the vehicle starts to accelerate out of nowhere and cannot turn and crashes. Even if I use the “SLOW” option to make the vehicle go slower, it doesn't work. The vehicles go extremely fast. Can you help me with this issue? I would be very happy if this is fixed.
You have to set the speed mode before using the planning mode for it to take effect.

What do I need to do in order to hide the icon above enemy units?
You can press the backspace key to hide the UI.
@@jacktheviper1623 Yeah, but it would also hide the icons of my side units. I thought you were using some kind of script in order to hide only opfor icons. Anyway, thanks, bro!
@@imguimoreira The enemy unit's icons only appear when they are spotted by your units, but you can disable that in Addon options.
@@jacktheviper1623 So I believe my problems is being caused because I'm using Wargame alongside ALiVE to generate SP missions
@@imguimoreira Yes, you are probably seeing the icons because these enemy units are in your Zeus control list.

Is it possible to have one ai faction fight against another while giving out commands in the rts mod, and the ai try to complete objectives, and then perhaps play as an individual soldier during the game?
You can play the game normally with the mod on, you just need to exit the Zeus interface. You can also direct control any unit by selecting the direct control option in the menu.
@@jacktheviper1623 is there a way to do that without it showing a bunch of order lines and arrows whenever you take over a unit?

Thanks for the detailed video! I used the instructions, everything worked out. But did I understand correctly that it is impossible to slow down time in the game on the server? This is a problem when you play mission in which you control a large number of units, considering that there is no active pause in the game either.

Ok, looks nice for PVP. But how can i use all this for a single player game? There are now new modules but no turorial? For example if i want to create a mission where i attack (a village) and the AI is defending? How can i do this in the same gameplay like in the video? With this points system for rearming. Fog of war is also working in singleplayer with this module?

I'm trying to make it as compatible as possible with most mods, you should experiment with it and if you find any incompatibilities, report back to me.
Can you use this mod live for an operation with players against ai in zeus mode, and when you spawn new units, you can do rts movements, or does it all have to be pre set up in eden?
Yes, it's meant to do that as well, any unit placed in Zeus is controllable in the same way, you can also use the addon options to customize some of the mod settings.

Are those trenches part of the map, or are they a composition and made with deformer? If its a mod could you let is know what you used, im trying to build a collection of trench mods so i can use them for a mission.

This is really great
When a soldier enter inside an empty vehicle he will always take the driver slot first. Also it's better to have one team for the driver, gunner and commander separated from the passenger team.
how did you resize deployment area in this video?
Select the module and then press the 5 key to activate the resizing mode.
Hey I know this isn’t really too much the point of a mod, I love rts games but something I find cool from time to time is being a part of the battle that’s raging. Is there a way you’d recommend for me to be able to be on the ground in the battle and be murdering things personally? Either just play as my player character or remote control?
You can direct control units, select the unit and then use the 'direct control' option from the 'T' menu.

This has been my favourite mod for a long while now. Creating defensive lines with trenches and deformer and then assaulting them is my favourite thing to do in Zeus with this mod. This looks like an excellent addition for this. Thank you for your continued effort.

This complements the Arma commander mod incredibly well, have you tried using the two together since the update? In my opinion, AC is the mod for providing an enemy commander to play against in PVE scenarios.
I haven't had the time to experiment with that mod yet, but it seems interesting, I'll try to keep it as compatible as possible, if you have any suggestions related to mod integration I can look into it.
@@jacktheviper1623 As a matter of fact I do, I would love to see something like Drongo's Air Operations consolidated to the zeus interface. I found that calling in aircraft with that mod reminded me of wargame red dragon, so it seems like a good fit.

I reinstalled arma as with having Full Spectrum Warrior mod development in mind, this is incredible dude.
It would be cool if I had this much control over my units in Zeus...this would have made so many missions so much better...
Seriously about to reinstall ARMA 3 to try this. I like Combat Mission, but really want something newer that can simulate modern conflicts. Can squads be controlled as a single entity rather than each man individually (like Company of Heroes)?
Yes, the squad or fireteam is normally controlled as a single entity, but you can divide it up or use the planning mode to give individual orders when you want. Also keep in mind that I'm still actively developing the mod and there's a big update coming up, follow me so you won't miss it when it comes out.

this 100% should be part of the base game in reforger/4 they're missing out on a whole other market here, especially if they can somehow integrate it into multiplayer operations, imagine an enemy faction controlled by a player commander/zeus, endless potential
How do I disable the camera area module. I can't leave the area around the player character.
In the editor you just have to delete the trigger and logic object associated with it.

Is this mod still beneficial if you command AI as a unit instead of a Zeus player?
There are some mechanics like the enemy AI ducking down when you suppress them that you could find interesting. You can also give some orders in the Zeus interface and then go back to first person, I added the ability to enter Zeus mode at anytime by pressing the 'insert' key.
@@jacktheviper1623 although there's nothing wrong with the Zeus thing, why I asked that question is that you could easily see where enemies are by using Zeus's camera which feels like cheating to me at least.
@@Isaac-ho8gh I see, unfortunately that's how it works at the moment, but I'm working a Fog of War system that will hide enemies that haven't been spotted by a friendly unit that I hope to implement in future updates.
This is unrelated but how do you work the laser designator and can fire support work with planes/CAS?
Place the laser on a position by selecting a soldier or vehicle with the laser designator trait and using the Laser designator option from the menu, the unit must have direct line of sight to the target position, then select a friendly vehicle that has laser guided missiles or shells and click on the laser target. @@lasdz941 Call to Arms is only good to buy Gates of Hell, now that's a good one. CTA was dissapointing. There's a new game called Broken Arrow coming out that's modern day and you can customize EVERY unit. Go look it up, it looks incredible.
