Can you hook the nvg30 to a canon vixia g20

Can this run without a battery using only external power? I'm considering getting this for casual airsoft games and would be using it with a helmet and a battery pack. It would be nice to save the weight of the 18650 since it would be less weight on the front AND back of my helmet.

I bought the FMA amps for shooting and for airsoft and im satisfied with em. They protect my ears just fine from gunfire and from tagin grenades. The audio amplification is ok and they're comfortable, overall its fine choice for a budget headset.

Can you review the Runcam Phoenix 2 SP or the Pro version and compared it to the night eagle 3 v2, as it is stated on the runcam website that the phoenix has a bit more light sensitivity than the eagle 3 v2 (15000>11390mV/Lux•sec). Also, maybe add the caddx infra to the list which claims to be 0 lux rating.

And it has the added benefit of making the wearer look like the borg.

How good is the eye relief?

Its a small thing but thnk you for showing the view from the naked eye as well and from the NVD! So many comparisons skip that for some reason.

Do you think I will be able to operate an atv with these? Are you able to shoot passively with them? (I have no laser) I want to get into night vision but do not know if spending 3x the price of these would be worth it.

Ok so I don’t airsoft or plan on sprinting around but are the NVG30 adequate enough for the occasional plinking with a 22 and IR laser and light? How much more effective does say a weapon mount IR light make these in terms of being able to identify/the range of a target?

In your admin pouch you can tie a 3-4’ strand of 550 cord to a chem light aka buzz saw. Crack the chem light and spin it in a circle like a kid would a sparkler. It’s a good way to signal. Just something that might help.

There is a guy on Etsy who makes a 3D printed housing with fiber optic running from the NVG10 illuminator back to the objective lens. You lose the ability to project IR light outwards, but it is instead redirected back to the lens and it allows the unit to see noticeably better in dark environments while maintaining a relatively low IR signature. I wrapped the exposed fiber in shrink tubing so the whole setup gives off very little light as only a small portion of the fiber optic is exposed. The housing for the fiber optic is pretty robust but the mounting surface area is a failure point so I added some epoxy glue to make it a permanent upgrade. With these upgrades on a dual NVG10 setup, I can go into a wooded area with little to no moonlight and still see a rudimentary image as opposed to total darkness. You'll also be able to see into darker areas that you otherwise would need external illumination for. IMO this upgrade is absolutely invaluable and boosts the performance of the unit substantially. It's also very cheap. Only downside is that it ships from Canada.

yesterday in the game I looked at the NVG30 and was surprised when the eye does not see the NVG30 gives a good picture without IR illumination a night sight from China for 150 dollars showed a black screen but the NVG30 allowed me to see leaves and branches at a distance of 10 meters taking into account the price and unpretentiousness a good option than the EPO 2 generation 2+

I frequent a range that has had 5 accidental shootings since it has opened where someone was actually shot. Each one of those accidental shootings was by military or police personnel. older video so someone's already mentioned it, but that button for the stock that doesn't sit flush it because the stock's not locking in all the way most likely. as long as it's flush when the stock folds forward. a file will fix that. cool vids. earned a sub and also went and sub'd oxide.. dunno how i've never stumbled upon his vids. hit me up if you need any info on your AK.
