8:53 Many cartoons, like Phineas and Ferb, would NEVER try anything that drastic. As much as I love that show, its fanbase is probably one of the most toxic of ANY cartoon; basically worshipping it like its their god. While it does have a lot of its episodes focusing on building lasting relationships, like Canderemy, Ferbnessa, and Phinabella, it never shows any realistic or "bad" things happen after they get engaged. It's basically a fantasy that Disney wants to shove down their throats that long-term relationships do exist, but think that's the norm. Not really. Shows like Gravity Falls and Kim Possible showed more realistic progression in relationships, with Kim and Ron starting out as friends, and then becoming a couple towards the end of the series. Even the love triangle between Dipper, Wendy, and Robbie was far more realistic, as not only did neither of them end up with Wendy for differing reasons( Dipper being aloof to Wendy's feelings for exposing Robbie deepfaking his guitar solo and suggesting they make up going bowling.) Wendy gets very upset with Dipper and Dipper has to realize that she has feelings, too. Relationships are a lot of work, and most cartoons get that a lot of them don't work out! To show a rose-coloured version of romance the same way Phineas and Ferb shows it is not only harmful to people who have experienced real heartbreak, but to hurt many individuals who have experienced heartbreak.

If Regular Show is getting a reboot planned, I cannot say I'm surprised if William Salyers and Mark Hamill are not going to reprise as their roles, and the creator (JG Quintel) hired new voice actors for Rigby and Skips; namely these guys: Dee Bradley Baker and John DiMaggio. I wouldn't mind if the RS reboot had that change in casting. IMAO Baker would do a better job than Salyers as Rigby.

its really sweet seeing muscle Men and muscle woman have kids. in earlier seasons they were always greedy,gross,obnoxious but still had human emotions. and all the characters developed so well its very bittersweet

You also forgot Mr. Maellard as a main character. Sure, he doesn't appear as often, but the way Benson reprimands Rigby and Mordecai all the time because he will get fired if he doesn't shows how much his shadow looms over the rest of the park board.

Plot structure of MOST regular show episodes: Mordecai and Rigby are given a task Mordecai and Rigby want to find an easier way to do said task Mordecai and Rigby accidentally cause some godlike being to appear Skips says “Yep, I’ve seen this before” and tells them what to do They do it and the monster/god/some other third thing dies The park and/or the house is destroyed Benson yells at Mordecai and Rigby to clean up the mess OR THEY’RE FIRED

I remember watching this every fucking single day from my childhood with my little brother, i think during 2017? To i forgot when, had remembered alot of episodes and binge watching it again, fuck this show was so good, the movie is kinda meh for me! ( the plot ) but the ending is bit sad so it's quite good Edit : forgot to add, but i think this is what caused me to have such humor, the absurdity etc, man how i miss my childhood, hope they keep making things like this

Mordecai's ending works and makes sense but at the same time i feel like if there was going to be a messy love triangle he should have at least ended up with either CJ or Margret because even though people feel like CJ was better for him they ended up breaking up and it was shown in the episode "Just Friends" that Mordo and Margret had a future so i think it would have also been cool if they just went with that.
