Dragon Update in Enshrouded
I needed to defeat the Dragon in enshrouded but was too embarrassed to do it LIVE or even to record it. But I got it done! In this video we upgrade the Flame Altar and talk about what I might be doing next in Enshrouded.

Building A Fishing Village in Valheim
I had issue with NPCs disappearance too until I put all of their range to 10m. Now they don't disappear anymore.
Omg thank you! I thought it was losing it ! I went to 0 with a few - the carpenter for one - kept sleeping outside - shame, I love his little hide away house at Harvest Home. I now keep the summing staff with me at all times - just in case.
@Sil3nceisGold yeah, I like it when they have more range. That way my village area seems more alive. But I guess this is still an early access and has some bugs. Hopefully they will fix this soon.
@domitabs I made the main 7 NPCs homes before they could move around - i place things (bedrooms, etc) where I thought they should be if the NPCs were 'real' without having to think about pathing. In future builds i will make adjustments- no doors on bedrooms and no ladders, to name a few. I would like that live village look as well
Having NPCs scattered across multiple bases makes it more difficult to keep track of them. Same thing with storage chests, a few extras at secondary bases is good idea to dump stuff temporarily. The downside of building in a already built village or near important locations is that when changes are made it could eliminate massive chunks of your area. I remember hearing about quite a few people who built in villages and close to where the Hallow halls were before the 1st update and once the game updated they lost huge chunks of what was built including storage chests full of resources, gear, weapons, food and potions. It's a gamble so don't expect what you've built to be permanent.
Your storage chest inventory is a mess.🤣 1 trick that I did to prevent wild animals and enemies from attacking my base was to "dig" a trench around the furthest edge so they can't cross into the base area. This is EXTREMELY effective against all that don't fly and are only melee.
@Nightowl5454 OMG my inventory makes my want to cry !
@Sil3nceisGold the amount of time that you probably spend looking for stuff in that mess probably doubles the time going to get it and I can imagine it's very frustrating. I recommend deciding on where to make a permanent main base location, then put all your storage chests, NPCs and everything crafting stations there. Then have KEY locations to teleport to that are close to resources that you can't already easily get too from the big towers, you do have a alter almost next to to 1 which is a waste of an alter. Adding items to increase comfort level in KEY location houses and a workbench so you can repair tools and weapons would be a wise choice. Some will carry an alter and workbench around so they don't need to teleport back to a base to repair weapons and tools. Most people always keep a spare alter slot open so they can use it for ease of teleporting back and forth to a temporary spot or for a boss or nearby an elixir well where you might die. What I did for my main base was put it INSANELY high in the sky near Lupa's lair because it's a central location, the reason is to use it as a jump and fly point to nearly anywhere spot😁. I haven't been able to play in a long time because of a problem with my PC, hopefully I can get it fixed soon and play again.
@Nightowl5454 I am sorry to hear about your pc - I hope you get it fix soon
@@Sil3nceisGold yep, it's annoying when something expensive breaks.😔
If they gave the option to zoom out further on the map it'd likely cause major lagging problems.
@Nightowl5454 i know😞 everytime i go into the map there a 30% chance my game is going to crash
@@Sil3nceisGold I heard they supposedly made it significantly less likely to crash when opening the map.
Brilliant idea!! Thanks :)
@@Emberithe Thank you! 🤩
Like honestly if I could build like this I would LIVE in the game 🤣
LOL!!
Wow! That's STUNNING! Great Job! 😊
Thank you!! 🤩
You have to light the bale fires then do the fight to upgrade alter to 10 to clear the red and finish the missions. And don’t start a new game the struggle is real enough with out coming from level one, lol
@hollysims7 OMG thank you !! 🤩 I thought it might have something to do with the bale fires but I haven't found them all yet - I have no idea how I going to get pass the the Boss - I drop all my points into melee
Sorry, I got busy but I did enjoy your streams. See you in the next one
No problem! I'm glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for the hints! I don't like having to protect chickens from Seeker raids, so that is perfect. Also, I didn't know you could put down signs in caves, so that's also good to know.
I am so glad it helped!!
I am thankful for you and your hard work in bringing us your videos. Look forward to more in the futures. For now have a fabulous Thanksgiving. ❤

I loved your art and your buildings are awesome!. Maybe you can add some chill medieval music into these videos. It can make it so warm.
@@ayberkgerey wonderful idea! I might do that in the future
Placing a smaller number of fires in the middle may work as well, for those short on resources or concerned about performance and save file size.
@@barccy good idea!
Good video. Thanks
@Steve-H57 Thank you !
I like the idea of having a security person at the entrance. I hate that I can't get my junk fences to interlock with each other, though. It kind of discourages me from building walls.
@@littleredcar2926 i agree about the walls - i never really built with them before because of that reason
Awesome! Can't wait to see the new builds!
Thank you!
Nice job ... sledgehammers are awesome weapons! Used stagbreaker to take down skeletons in burial caves and draugrs in sunken crypts. To defeat bonemass I jumped on top of his skull and used an iron sledgehammer to whale away plus a few frost arrows to take him down ... easy peasy. Just took down Yagluth with Frostner and the help of some 2* wolves, getting ready for some mistlands adventures!
@@TheSonicfrog thank you!! Enjoy the Mistlands !
Melee in power armor. Classic.
@ahb8648 lol! I do like to hit things with pointy sticks 😇
Where did you get the iron grate thingums? I've seen a few people use them, but I've never unlocked them. And I've got 300 hours into the game! Pleeeaaase, where do you get them?
@ColourShyft under miscellaneous at the blacksmith - I believe they were unlock with iron or one of the those quest (possibly the Heart of Iron quest) - I had them since the highland at least.
@@Sil3nceisGold I had NO CLUE! 😂 Thanks 😊
Love it!!!
@lyingtruthfully7972 thank you
Love your place... I stick to the woods and mountain area myself. I tried a few times to build something in that area but they just did not turn out very well. After looking at some of the stuff you did maybe Ill try a small one just to see if I can get something to work. Great job those hanging plants are nice. I myself after finishing everything in the game so far added a place for each the NPC's, it's a lot of fun making different style places for each of them.
@timm4315 Enshrouded has a wonderful building system! It is a ton of fun building for the NPCs! And thank you, I am very proud of my hang plants 🤗
Looooove this it’s funny I’m your first comment and funny that I myself also did hanging plants I was also sooooo proud of it😂🎉❤ also an idea is to put tree by green house for farmer and put foundations down to get the bee hive to sit on then destroy foundations :) yo may have already I’m going to watch Emily’s video next ❤
@@ccsierrarae we SHOULD be proud of our hang plants!!! 🤗 they are beautiful!

Way to go on your 300 subscribers! Ive been enjoying your builds!
@@mtarves24 🥰 Thank you!!!
I'm a big fan of the regular half timber and flintstone for some lower areas, I'm using a ton of palm wood, it's gorgeously elegant. I do NOT like the look of that brick half timber either.
Thank you ! I have to admit, I liked how I fixed the brick block problem in the next video . Omg ! Flint!! I really cant believe I havent used it until now - love it as flooring
Addorable
Thank you!
Great job!
Thank you !
I like this one as well :) I think maybe for visual interest the seating area would look good, as you said. but also perhaps putting the stairs outside could work? im not sure what you would do with the interior after tho
Let me know what you think after the blacksmith is completed
Fyi - the blacksmith will not be out until After 7/10 - i will be making that announcement this Sunday or Monday. Until then may I recommend the rest of the Home series or the Harvest Home Rebuild - I have some Valheim builds if you like Valheim. If you are in the USA have a wonderful 4th and no matter where you are at in the world - may your days and nights be wonderful 😊
honestly this is one of the most gorgeous builds ive seen in enshrouded to date. You did really well its all so beautiful.
Wow thank you!!🥰
@@Sil3nceisGold of course! I can't wait to see what you do for the bard as well.
@@yaboi3955 i got it started but the Carpenter and Blacksmith would be out 1st
@@Sil3nceisGold ye, I plan to watch those tonight. I'm also excited for the Alchemist.
Love the framing of the sugar cane with chamomile and the firefly light underneath with the dessert temple columns. favorite part... its nice to create an Oasis in an area that's otherwise desolate.
Thank you!
I have been meaning to try this game. How does it compare to Valheim with the building. I know that you can build into a cave. That alone makes me wanna play.
I think Valheim and Enshrouded are 2 very different games - the building system in both is relatively easy (snapping is wonky in Enshrouded- only use it when placing roofs) in Valheim you can make some very beautiful builds but the truth is I enjoy building in Enshrouded more than Valheim
Thanks for this vid! 💜 Flintstone and shroud wood are my absolute favorite building materials. (Don't mind the half-timbered and I do use it, but it's a bit spikey on material joins and staggers, and when there's a lot of that, it sometimes starts bugging me.) Agree with you on the brick timbered wall (or whatever it's called.) I honestly haven't tried to place it in-game yet, but yeah... aside from the bowing, it kinda looks like a sticker rather than an actual material. Kudos to them for trying to introduce so many new blocks and I appreciate that a LOT, but yeah I think this one needs more work.
It is spikey!! Well said. That is the exact issue I am having on the stairs. I enjoy building in Enshrouded a lot - love all the blocks and looks you can achieve- but its the little things that get you sometimes- like a 2 dimensional computer generated block that looks like a sticker or spikey bits messing with the flow of stairs. But guess what I fixed it! not the spikey bits but the build! Its all recorded and ready to go next Wednesday - let me know what you think
haven't reached chickens yet but intend to soon. in fact I knew little about them until this video! ty
🥰 You are welcome!!
Really impressive build :)
Thank you 🤗
Thats really good, just add some wall decorations
Thank you for the suggestion
