Remove Ivy From a Building - Great Tips & Tricks | Renovate Project
I would have left more gap between the post and waste pipe. Wood expands when it gets wet.
What type of paint finish (semi, gloss?) on outside and oil based or latex?
Latex is water soluble. Don’t use that! You would want an oil based enamel most likely. The sheen is up to you depending on the “design” goals. Semi or gloss are easier to clean later though.
Hi, where did you get the gate from?
Thanks a lot for the tutorial, really struggled for using this things for the first time 😂😂😂
Great idea. The scraper heads advertised on the internet are hundred of pounds. I think I will make my own for a fraction of the price. Cheers.
Epic! thank you
What a talented young man
I have a verry verry old one like to get a repiear ket
Hey, I have those exact same feet attachment slots. What hardware is required to properly attach those feet? Thanks in advance.
Hi is this product available in South Africa
Looks like a good argument to rent before you buy.
Screws in our table. The original Benchdogs. 😂
The shutter is upside down. The cut out should be at the top
Cool just need 3 grand worth of equipment! 😂
Great video and a beauty of a gate. What chisel do you recommend for doing this type of work?
The sharp ones.
You can't do dry ice cleaning unless you have adequate psi and cfm. The "machine" is just a hopper with a valve to turn the pressure up and down. The machines are a bit of a scam if you think about it. All the money is in your air compressor.
Hi. I’ve just seen your video. I was wondering if I can ask you something. I have a wood fired oven that my husband build and he did a mosaic tiling but it’s coming off and he has just passed away and I don’t know how to repair it. Did you use normal mosaic tiles?
thank you for the video
Posts video of how to fit blinds Plays music over the part where he’s actually fitting the blinds
Is spraying just as good, or do you recommend using a roller?
Brilliant idea, safe means of access to spray roof.
How do I loosen the flap spring, the postmen and paperboy gets their fingers shredded ?!??
thought you were going to stain the boards before you fitted them -- just saying ;;;
Looked much nicer with the ivy 😂
Parabéns.. tudo muito organizado ❤❤❤
Sou de Belém do Pará (Brasil 🇧🇷) ❤❤
Uhhh... its already peeling at the tank welds?...
Great job thanks for the video
good way to weaken or pull down a wall. And pull out mortar. Not the best way to do removal.
Brilliant informative vid I’m looking at doing similar I have same model not as bad to start what are the nails just masonry nails and anything special about the grout thanks
Good to know
Now that was worth watching, and your pretty handy with the tools as well 👍
So am I right in thinking only sawing were the two posts? Could that be done with a handsaw? When the gate latches, on the outside how can you open the gate when you're inside? I think I missed something. 🤔
yeah not the most practical setup, you would use a two way gate latch system if you wanted to gain access from both sides but in this case i would imagine the customer wasn't to bothered considering they wanted the old rusty bolt to be used on the new gate, the inside bolt is only used for locking up on a nighttime or when they are away from the property.
That fence is illegally fitted. The boundary posts - only use the facing of them NOT the middle like here.
Illegally? What crazy country do you live in where the government cares how your fit a gate?
I've never seen anything like this before, and it's quite interesting to see! Having once been a farmer in the United States, I've a peculiar question for you, though. Do you spray an herbicide on the cut 'root mass' of the ivy, where it first emerges from the ground, to keep it from returning? Or do you simply try to uproot it entirely?
Thanks so much for this, just what I needed. Cheers mate
How would you fix a similar problem on the first floor?
How about one for monitors and desktop computers? Laptop screens are so tiny, I need a large monitor or 2.
With enough air supply, you can try to modify the nozzle, i think it will work better
Love the style of this video (and the choice of music). Compared to most vids I've seen on door builds, this is pretty complex and you're not 'just using hand tools'. I'd have to buy a router but I fortunately have a chop saw already - though I'll be doing it on the floor of my carport as i don't have that amazing bench facility. Also you say at the start that you'll be staining before assembly but you don't. Did you forget, couldn't be arsed or was there a reason? :-) Great vid and nice work.
Brilliant, was the srayer from Screwfix?
Were on the verge of no return but we can take it back ! We are the many 🏴✝️🇬🇧
Good video, I think that's a fairly comprehensive range of tools for most basic diy tasks around the house, handy for the new homeowner standing in b and q wondering where to start.
Problem I've had with stuff like this is when drilling the mortice, I can't drill down perfectly square so the adjoining timber naturally then isnt square with the piece of timber it's joining to. Any advice on avoiding this issue?
Why didn’t you just place the wood on top of the of the vinyl?
haha does your editor make porn films on the side!?
Can you just sell me one?? 😢
❤❤it good man 😊😊
Wrong. U open the ratchet and put the longer through the back of it, like it's a crocw tongue, and ratchet from there. Holds firm and when you need to remove it, you simply open up the haw and pull on the tongue. No unnecessary unbinding.
i had to hire stageing/scaffolding and do a job that size myself back in the 90's by hand, using secatures, half moon edgeing iron, absolute nightmare😣
Now you just need the NYC DOT to send you a double guywire mast arm <NYC standards> so you can display your NYC styled signal properly in your backyard. 😂😂😂
