I wanted to like this but I am absolutely gutted you decided to take out my favourite part and it's my favourite part of the entire song AND the album. Other than that, I appreciate your efforts especially when it comes to you looking to want to make these songs feel and sound better but I think you've gone too far by taking certain lyrical passages out!! I'm not sure how you make it sound "modern vintage" but it fits perfectly with CoB's music.

Its weird how the albums that really need a remastering like COBs old stuff never get the treatment. Yet albums like Megadeth's Youthanasia gets a remastering, its so frustrating.

Stumbled on this randomly and wow! I've been an IM fan for a long time and I consider myself pretty familiar with all of their music and the fact that a lad on UA-cam can make the title track of BNW sound that good is both inspiring and saddening... Every Maiden album after the late Mr.Birch's unique treatment has suffered from somewhat poor sound engineering, which is a damn shame. I really don't understand why IM, who have tried to set their own pace and rules over the time have resorted to falling into the "Loudness War" (I've checked it since you referenced it somewhere in the comments). Why? I don't get it.. I truly don't.. Some tracks on BNW like "Out of the Silent Planet" and even the title track have distortion and clipping... Such a shame. BNW has sooooo much soul within it and especially the title track.. For the first time I was able to hear that crisp chant of the rhythm guitar on the left in the chorus and it's.. Pure, pure magic.. Details like that enthrall you into that track.. Into the atmosphere and make it live and breathe. You've done amazing work mate! Thank you!

This was remixed with the Rock Band stems that were ripped from the game, so I had way more freedom restoring the dynamics of this track because of this. I'll comment here but I could very well do it under any of the other videos: dude this shit's amazing, I truly wish we could get more, but I also understand the whole thing about rights, intellectual property and so on, so I guess these ones will have to do. Huge shame though, because now that you pointed it out for me, I just can't unsee - ahem UNHEAR - the difference. It's amazing how each and every instrument can properly breathe, and how easy it is to distinguish the layers, and even the "real" tone of the guitars, everything is just so much cleaner. Great job, and as someone else already said: the band themselves should pay you to release the full albums, lol.

I would say that the sound mix of the songs of Senjutsu is the worst of the post Blaze IM era. The keyboard in the background is unnecessary, doesn't really add musical quality, just some background noise. And it's not even performed live by the six band members. The songs themselves are great.
