Hi, will this setup work with VoIP software application like allworkx? I have the same router. I disabled SIP ALG, but my SIP ALG detector is still detecting that SIP UDP is enabled. I was able to temporary fix it using VPN, but when VPN connection is not stable, the calls connection are also affected. So the permanent fix would be to completely disabled SIP UDP which I cannot find in the router's settings. 😩

Oga thank you. If I may add and explain why you chose PPPoE instead of IPoE? PPPoE works on user authentication so your ISP would have to provide you with a login ID and password. This is a standard protocol used by most ISP's. It is a client server base system. IPoE is not a user authentication protocol but it is a fairly new way of connecting to the internet and it only requires your device getting an IP address from the system. Not a lot of ISP's use this at the moment. Good video as it was short and precise.

@@gminnovations my question to to configure the sip on the android,iphone phone , i have done that , so i can call using my smartphone , there is no need to have a landline phone , the only issue that i have is receiving the call which i believe is the app issue, sine phone is killing the process after some times :)

@@gabrieltetteh5808 loss light means there's a break in communication between the ONT and ISP. Look out for a break in the cable along the line.

@ nah, i didn't touch it, i forwarded some ports and looks like it was working since the game says it's open now.
@ The Crew from Ubisoft, the gane has map bug, and infinite loading glitch, i had moderate ports, had to change to open but still the game has the glitch, it was not about internet, it's about the game...

The device is supposed to be connected by the service provider like Vodafone or MTN etc. It's not wireless as in a mobile device. Internet will come through a wired connection.

I tried to acces it using telecomadmin/admintelecom but it says incorrect acount/password config
It's possible the login details has been changed and in that case you will have to reset the modem to clear the settings.

You can also try USERNAME: root PASSWORD: admin

I will have to look at the other model you mentioned before I can compare them but HG8245H can meet your need.
This product has the features you're looking for but since I'm not in India I can't help with the rest of your questions.
