This game is legendary. Swords and souls too... Many flash games settled in my memory. How 10 yrs old me used to type "browser flash games" in google

My favourite game of all time is SS2. It is older than me yet to this day it still picks my interest since i started playing it more than 10 years ago.

If you know the trick with the character creation, you know how to win every fight. 1. Randomize the character until it gives you one with like 1000 points in something. 2. Take out all those point with a 1000 clicks. 3. Put them all on strength. 4. Enjoy one shooting everytime

I loved the first one as a kid. Played it for hours, then I lent it to a friend and never saw it again.

The game actually also got released in France in 2000 as well, thanks to... A TV channel, TF1. Unfortunately the french version is extremely difficult to find today, I'm lucky enough to own one, but it's a shame the game never really got popular here because of its poor distribution.

3D was basically always a mistake for early RTS titles. It just looks worse without having the payoff that 3d movement gives.

Heroes IV will always have a special place in my heart. It breaks my heart that people were so inflexible at the time that they couldn't live without grids, immortal heroes and other immersion-breaking things that I really hate seeing not only in homm but in games in general. Also I really wish there were more low-fantasy pastoral atmosphere fantasy vibe games like Heroes 1 through 4.

We can hate the Homm4 for the gameplay elements but the music... The OST from that game might be even better than from the 3rd and 5th. Praise to the great Paul Anthony Romero!

The models of Heroes VI are better than in Heroes V, but the fact you can't zoom-in sucks.

Finally found the game I played so many years ago. I couldn't remember the name.

Anyone who accidentaly made a beautiful large square in front of a farm instead of a farmfield, please raise your hand :) Really liked the road building aspect, which was important but time consuming and expensive aswell. Played this game ánd a totally different RTS Red Alert 1 a lot at the time with a friend. Really enjoyed the remaster of RA recently and it would be great if a remaster would be made for KaM

The 2D variant reminds me a lot of Stronghold 1, also an amazing game and very interesting look and feel and immersive gameplay.

Oh man. Playing Chase Ace 2 with my friends or my sister was awesome. Sister and I mostly played as a team, destroying the enviroment. Great times.

PK2 has been such an awesome game for me which I have re-found out not so long ago as well due to a reddit post of a description of this game written many years ago (didn't remember the name of it). It's awesome that it has a map editor and it's really cool for the developer to release the source code, didn't know about that. Do you know by any chance where can we find and play those community levels? would be really cool to revisit the game from a new level creation perspective!
