Hi John Temperature doesn't really matter. The resin is quite thick with about 50% ABS solids as the solvent evaporate the new ABS is welded into the ABS being repaired. The colder the weather the slower the resin cures. It is fully cured when it is hard black and shiny like a new ABS pipe fitting. If you can't make a mark with a fingernail it is cured. Don't try to heat up the area with a heat gun as it will mess up the curing. just give it extra time to cure in cold weather. The repair can be done from the inside I use a #115 dremel bit but almost any of their carving bits will work. Because it is on the inside you do not have to V groove the crack just make sure there is nothing (like paint)on top of the ABS. Just apply in a 1/8" thick bead straight from the bottle. The resin will smooth it's self a little leaving a smooth surface that when cured in 24 hours will be hard, black, and shiny. You can ad more coat to add strength and thickness to the repair. Hi Robert when you are finished the repair put the applicator spout ack in the box and put the white seal cap back on. The next time you go to use the resin the cured resin will jut pop out and leave you with a clean as new applicator. With the white seal cap on and tight we guarantee a 3 year shelf life

Depends on how finished you want it to be. if you are happy with the way it looks leave it as is. If you start sanding you will need to paint.

Answered my own question by looking at your website. Do you have a white ABS repair kit? I have the same problem (trailer fender skirt) but the skirt is white.

Easy for diy'ers. Although it's not beyond the scale of the average Joe, the average Joe believes that it is so they're going to go for something much quicker or hire someone else. Also this is a good short-term option for a joint that is difficult to access.

@@easyabsrepair4488 will check it out. Just in a dilemma now because my repair is kinda urgent. Not sure if can wait two weeks. Am in singapore. Am tempted to just use super glue with baking soda or MEK with abs gauze. If I melt abs in MEK, is it comparable in results?

Look up a UA-cam vid on making ABS slurry/glue. All you need is Acetone and ABS particles/chips etc. At my old workplace we used to save all the ABS drilling/sawing waste and use it to make up the glue.

There are some fumes as the resin cures. \use in a well ventilated area. It is not toxic to the skin and will peel off when cured. I use nitrate gloves but any rubber glove will work. as you can see by the various videos I am not wearing any gloves.

It is mandatory that you wear a mask.

24 hour cure times between applications. sometimes on worked on it for 5 minutes each day.
