Don't forget, this is also an every evolving price. Especially considering you can only charge what the market will bear. If you're charging what everyone else is charging but no one's making any money, then the market won't bear what you're charging. That's probably the hardest thing to figure out. Especially when you're starting out. But even when you're experienced it's hard to know if it's a good time to raise your prices or lower them.

Starting photographers also price based on their experience (or how well they are known in the industry), often saying "well I can't price myself like Joe, because Joe is more famous", also a mistake.

I want a video on how to keep my cool when Apple yet again break something following an update. To continue my work as soon as possible it seems I have to order a three-ring aux jack and get soldering, or pay for extra Apple hardware or... pull the front off my High Sierra iMac and hack straight in to the internal mic connection. Anyway, thankyou Michael Alexander. Seems it's OK for some. Apple should put more resources into being user-friendly - which was how they built their once-great reputation.

my microphone only has one ring on it what should i do then?

In my case it was because I had an old USB-A cable (that Rode had delivered) and had to convert it. When I used a USB-C to USB-C cable (from my iPhone) it worked. Now I'll just order a new cheap one on Amazon, less than 10 bucks.

Wow. Spent the whole morning trying to figure this out. You would think that Apple would clearly mention this? No Sir! And googling just get people to advice you to go to System Settings and give permission to use the external microphone when its not showing up. Not one helpful suggestion till I found your solution! macOS Catalina here, I brought a trs to trrs converter and I'm not getting a "External Microphone" option in my System Preferences pane? Can anyone please help? Product link: Boya 3.5mm trs to trrs adapter Edit: yeah ive tried everything, using without the adapter, restarting my machine. It is still only giving “Internal Microphone” option.

You really can’t beat the value of an EOS R right now. Full frame and only slightly more expensive than the RP. Definitely not a sports or wildlife camera even with a fast card. Although, Sony has a great lineup as well, I’m super comfortable with Canon and that means I shoot more. Cheers and thanks for the video.

That's a good point about the business and a workshop. I went to a "workshop" a little while back. It was my first one. Turns out it was no teaching as everything was already setup. It was more of a styled shoot and I was very unimpressed. However, I took my learning into my own hands and started changing the lighting to learn how it worked in the situations I wanted. But definitely something to watch out for!
