Harvest one of 6 today. Just under 33 pounds. Tendril was dried. Sounded hollow, those little cracks were there so I harvested and it’s good. It had a crack but the crack was superficial only in the outer 1/4 of rind as we had a monsoon and temps above 100. Ty for this advice!

In Canada it's hard to find cheddar creme soup I have found the dry cheddar powder like in mac and cheese mix any ideas on the mix for that? I always use the soup in my homemade mac and cheese . It cuts the price of fresh.

I presume the waistband can be made narrower by using less than 2" and a narrower band of elastic? I *hate* the wide waistband sleep pants all the stores have been carrying for years now!!! Ugh! I'm autistic with Sensory Processing Disorder and cannot *stand* wide/tight waistbands. I currently have exactly one pair of sleep pants because I can't find any that have a narrower waistband -- which is one of the main reasons I have taken up sewing again.

I'm so confused with my beans this year. They are doing very good. The thing I'm confused about....these bush beans are RUNNING. One patch I have them planted near cucumber and some trellises for them, the beans have taken over the trellis. Another bed the beans have ran to the fence and running up

Same thing with me and the “ bean rash🙄” also, was picking squash for a friend today and I got all itchy, stingy and bumps🤷‍♀️ there are some neat gardening sleeves by Farmers Defense that might help. I haven’t been able to try mine out on the beans yet but I hope they work!!

I haven’t noticed a rash with beans but I get it so bad with squash, cucumbers and okra is the worst! I’m also in Louisiana but farther south from you. Zone 9 now. Idk it doesn’t matter the zone. It’s just hot and muggy! Your beans are great! I’ve had army worms so bad this year and I also haven’t gotten many beans. I think I’ll stop with the heirloom varieties. I just need a good harvest!

I do! I get a rash from Green beans & Cucumbers. I love gardening & harvesting but not the itching! lol. And if Mom’s are real busy….Grandma’s are too….I watch 3 of my Grandkids when my Daughter has to work out of town. It takes a village but we’re getting a done. Don’t stress about the season you are in….You are a Wonderful Mom, Wife & UA-camr….Just pick your day battle & conquer it. The rest will be there when you get to it…if not, then it really wasn’t that important was it?
