how hot is that pan cause ur butter isn't burning......i thought steaks were supposed to cook at high heat. just would've liked to know the temp (med, med high, high)

5 mins both sides is over cooked. Add butter after first turn. 2 mins each side then 20 sec on edges then rest ; it’s cook the rest 😴

Imma start off with a little olive oil, then add butter to baste and finish.😋😋😋
Close but no. Olive oil has a low smoking point like butter and will burn you want to use a neutral oil like vegetable or Canola. Crank that burner up on high and sear the shit out of that steak and then add your butter at the end
