Tim Petherick - Real Spaces (audio demo)
This video demonstrates the new skin for the Tim Petherick Nebula library - Real Spaces, reverberation suite.
This is a truly innovative, unique, and powerful real spaces reverberation library.
The library was conceived through many months of study before making final sampling sessions, looking at specs, sampling, listening back, and starting over again. Every step in the process was auditioned. Unparalleled quality when matching sample rates.
This is a large collection of different ideas, divided into 4 Program types:
⦁ TYPE 1 - Chapel, Garage, Bathroom, Church, Hall, all sampled with 3 types of mic setups, with unprecedented control of sound source adjustment;
⦁ TYPE 2 - Victorian house with adjoining rooms and adjoining vaults underground. Four mic distances and mic locations were sampled for each, and various mic setup types;
⦁ TYPE 3 - Small Church sampled by putting mics behind the pillars at 3 different distances;
⦁ TYPE 4 - Huge collection of various outside spaces, 5 bridges, 5 Tunnels, 5 Woodlands, 5 Churches, and 5 additional locations including two Gorge locations. Two mic setups are available for each of the locations.

I'm a current Patreon member/contributor and was wondering how do you condense the number of skins/instances? I have to open 3 instances to use the compressor, limiter and the preamp. How do you do it in two? I'm on an apple silicon Mac if that helps.
Hello, Michael. Unfortunately there is no way to join instances using Nebula. What you can see in the video is simply two instances covered by each other. But If you'd like to have a single plugin containing multiple Nebula instances, i recommend you consider using BlueCats Patchwork.

I have a problem, when I launch your skin applied to the original plugin, not a single button is pressed. Nothing reacts when I click. Can you help ?
First of all, you need to make sure, you are using the most recent version of this Nebula library. The skin compatible only with the latest library build. Possibly you need to login to TimP website and download latest one, then try again. If still no luck, let me know, we'll investigate. Also it's best to contact me via Patreon internal messenger, or via Facebook messenger, for easier communication.

Yes, that's true. I guess that's how the original vintage tubes was sounded when sampled, or because of the specific sampling conditions. Michael Angel the developer should know more on this.

Hi Community ! I'm a newb to the world of gear + skins and I'm smitten by Tim P's Dual Tech v2 Pultec EQs. Can you guys tell me step by step how to purchase his EQ's with the Azzimov skin? Seems as if there's a method since I can't find a site to purchase it outright.
Have you ever tried the AlexB Neev 54? I've mostly stuck with TimP stuff, but I was curious how that one sounded...
Seems it's `old tech` library. Before the GE time, Alex compressors was suck. It was only capable for coloring like preamps, and very light GR compression really. So until this lib is not upgraded to modern standards, it's not worth trying, and won't compare with TimP comps.

Hey Max, I have bought some old Alex B libraries with included skins (not yours) and when I load them, I can only see half of the interface. Is it because these skins are made for older versions of nebula, or is there a setting that I'm missing? Alex didn't reacted to me yet, so I am trying here also:) thx
Not sure about that. Maybe some bug with your DAW? Try alternative DAW to check. Also i saw something like this in Reaper sometimes, usually closing/reopening window helps.

When using plugin compressors, I always pay attention to how they ever so slightly kill low end. This one did an incredible job at keeping the low end *almost* as loud, present, and 3D as the hardware. excellent comparison - love the visual of the waveforms.
Thank you! Yes, this is amazing emulation. TimP is the king of compressors as all we Nebula people know) I wish he release more products, but in reality each product development can took literally years at his end, all because tremendous attention to small details.

Yes, not CL1B, but kind of FC hardware emulation (only program#5 was sampled for this lib)

Indeed it would be nice, despite this library pretty old, and I wish it would be updated to modern Alex standards. I'll add it to the voting candidates list and hopefully it will appear in the upcoming voting polls soon, then we'll see how many people want it to be skinned)

Hello...the order of the presets you show in this video...Is that the actual order they should be? Im a little confused about this one. And I would like to use the Trust preset as it should be used because its a part of the tone section of the hardware and one reason why the 2500 is so sought after.
Hello. You mean that video shows COMP / PRE / THRUST one by one? No that's done just to showcase skins. As far as i understand about THRUST program - it should be used on separate track which is connected to the compressor's track sidechain input, and compressor have to be switched to S-CH mode. Personally i'm not using it, so can't give you 100% info. It's best for you to refer the product manual / ask Alex about proper routing and usage of THRUST program.

Plugin is missing a lottt of low end. Still impressive but I think perhaps an algo model may come closer. Production wise - one of the BEST hardware vs plugin comparisons ive ever seen, in terms of execution. Well done, Id love to see more of these!!

I tried to install it following all the instructions in the pdf, but I was unable to complete it. complicated
It have to be very simple for Nebula4. Just enter Setups, choose plugin type and press SAVE, that's it. Let me know more details about your issue.
